Absolutely unacceptable experience with Tony's Master Pizza (Pembina)…read more I ordered a large pepperoni and bacon pizza by phone and waited 1.5 hours. When it arrived, it had onions, which I am allergic to. I called the store immediately and was told I had supposedly ordered onions completely false. I've ordered this exact pizza before and would never order something I'm allergic to. I was offered either a store credit (without confirmation) or a remake that would take another 45 minutes. I chose the remake, as promised. When the second driver arrived, he aggressively accused me of being rude to the first driver, could not explain how, and then told me to never order from them again. This was shocking, unprovoked, and extremely unprofessional. Calling the store afterward got me zero apology, zero accountability, and a dismissive "What do you want me to do? I wasn't there." For a $43 pizza, this level of service is outrageous. Mistakes happen -- but disrespecting and blaming a customer for your errors is unacceptable. I will never order from Tony's Master Pizza again.

This combo deal included an ice tea can. The vegetarian pizza was very cheesy and delicious. I loved all the vegetables on it and I am not into spicy pizzas but I think there are flavours that are and other toppings. The place doesn't have a lot of tables or seats. It is more of a takeout pizza place. I think they deliver as well. I recommend this place if you are a real food foodie lover that doesn't mind red European style pizzas.

He settled with Tommy's as he was craving pizza. There's a large area for takeout orders, where you can see the chefs make the pizza. The dining area is at the room next door, and is not big at all, so reservations are highly recommended. It took me a while to decide what I wanted, as the Detroit Style Pizza was tempting. I eventually went with the Scotty Smokevitch, which consisted of pepperoni, sausage, and whipped ricotta. The pizza was quite uneven, which makes me think it was wood fired. It was still good though! Very flavourful, and the ricotta was actually a nice touch. Service was excellent here. I'll definitely return to try their items, including the Detroit style pizza.

+.5 for service…read more Shorty's is one of the newest upscale pizza joints in Winnipeg, taking over the former Bella Vista Pizzeria spot. It's a rather funky interior with limited parking due to construction around the Misericordia. I had the bacon and mushroom pizza, which was very unique in that it's quite sweet. I personally liked it cause it neutralized the taste of the smoked bacon. The crust is quite crunchy, though in some places it was a bit burnt. I asked about it and apparently that's what the oven does. Given the price point for the pizza I personally believe it's worth it. Service was excellent here, the servers were very helpful in trying to answer questions I had. Definitely not the best place if you're driving here, but for neighbourhood dwellers you got yourselves a gem of a pizza joint.
