This flying J is a pilot travel stop. My Dad and I make it a point to stop at this station every time we're in Oklahoma. Since the remodel this stop is much more mobility impaired friendly. My Dad uses a wheelchair and finding stops that are best suited for his needs is imperative. They have a lot of reserved parking and even have handicap parking for truckers!! All the employees that I have met are very helpful and nice. They greeted me as soon as I came into the store. The showers smell good but toilet definitely needs a good cleaning. The store overall was clean! I would recommend coming here! read more

#06/2023 Flying J in Ardmore When I need fuel I fuel here when I need to scale I scale here If I need nothing I don't stop here This is been a lousy flying J with a lot of work needed for many years to huddle House all the tweakers they got working in there no thank you food poisoning a few years ago not again won't stop Unfortunately this one the bathrooms they don't do a good job of cleaning even though their maintenance is supposed to they would rather play around and sluff off and do nothing. Managers don't seem to want to manage. you have a problem they tried to pass it off to somebody else the stores always dirty. Just tonight some guy was hollering he wanted some chicken strips and they were making excuses cuz they forgot to put them in so it'll only be about 10 minutes the guy waited a half hour for them to put them into the warmer. Coffee pots were empty they weren't properly changed they've got a long way to go they've always had a long way to go hence the two stars. Tough to access off the highway. However, once you're on property it's a great experience. Small but clean bathrooms. Easy to navigate store footprint. Ample grassy areas - with lots of trash cans - for pet relief walks. Gas prices are competitive too. read more

This place is a joke. There is always something not working, from the pumps to the showers. NOW, no food or coffee or anything from the coolers until June 2024 maybe. Nobody is cleaning shower stalls. There are 16 drivers waiting. It costs $20 to park here and they recommend the Love's down the street for any needs. read more

Second time we've stopped at this place to get propane in the RV. Both times we've waited over 20 minutes only to be told they don't have anyone certified to do propane. Why not tell us the truth the first time when you picked up the service phone at the propane station. If we'd been told this in the first place we would have pulled up and filled up the gas tank and been on our way. But due to the lack of customer service we opted to just pull away and get our gas elsewhere. Meanwhile inside the bathroom was in horrible condition. Didn't look liked it had been cleaned in sometime. Can't imagine the employees using this restroom in the condition it was in. read more

Well ok...not the nicest or cleanest or fanciest but it does the job. Decent selection of candy and road-food. Clean enough facilities and plenty of gas pumps and parking. The staff is fairly friendly and the location is right off the interstate - can't beat convenience. We've stopped here twice...it's a good place to stop between Dallas and OKC to avoid tons of traffic and people. read more

This Flying J is newer than some of the others along I-35, but the facility hasn't been particularly well maintained in its short existence. The location is convenient and the restrooms are relatively clean compared to many truckstops. The stalls are tiny though, barely wide and deep enough to step into and close the door without risking bumping the edge of the toilet (GROSS!!). I'm also not a fan of how Flying J's stalls are closed off from the rest of the lavatory at the front, but only have partial walls on the sides. It is rarely well ventilated, so it can be pretty fowl when users' odors aren't able to properly diffuse anywhere but other users' airspace (again, GROSS!!). Fuel is average-priced and the pumps are generally in working order. If you want junk food, or tacky Oklahoma and redneck-themed gifts (or are they one and the same?), you're sure to find what you're looking for in the convenience store. Unfortunately though, lines at the cash register are usually slow-moving, particularly during peak travel times, so it may be awhile before you get to enjoy your new treasures. On the upside, there is a great deal of people-watching to be done whilst waiting. In short, it's not the absolute worst, but it's not great, and will do if you can't wait 'til the TX line. read more

Restrooms so so, could use a deodorizer. Not swept, they haven't been keeping up their two hour checks. Walls have fingerprints & obvious areas never cleaned, or at least not in quite awhile. 20MAY2017: restrooms still in bad shape, looks like same debris as before. You can't expect much from a truck stop but this place is ridiculous. "Bathrooms cleaned and sanitized" toilets weren't even flushed, paper all over the floor. Took my soda to the register to pay for it and the gas and was completely ignored by three employees behind the counter. read more
