Carsten (head of EVT), and his subordinates (I dealt with Kim and one of his apprentices for a recent project to install a Techem monitor on my radiator pipes), are nothing short of a godsend in the VVS (plumber) world in Copenhagen. A land reknown for it's terrible handworkers, EVT is reliable, responsible, professional, and knowledgeable. They communicate well, and follow-up on requests and promises. I wish I had know Carsten and his team when I did my bathroom remodel, as the unfortunate scenario is that I'm using them now to fix the mistakes my previous plumber made! Alas, I will surely continue to keep them in my phonebook for all of my future plumbing related construction needs.

Whether it's…read morea plumber, an electrician, or a carpenter, I'd sooner rather remove my own eyeballs with kitchen appliances than go on a blind hunt for home improvement people here. Sounds dramatic, I know, but I'm totally serious. Perhaps you can relate. But, yelp friends, I have good news for you. I have, finally, praise be to god, found an incredible carpenter. And he's not just incredible because his competition sucks so bad. He's incredible in his own right, because he is talented and creative, and reliable. Carpentry in the true meaning of the word, with an ethical business owner behind it all to boot? Trust, you're not dreaming! Jonas, the main man behind Frederiksberg Tømreren is indeed one of the most talented carpenters I've ever met. He's the type of guy you call for custom projects. Need a built-in closet? Not interested in an IKEA kitchen? Want to add custom bookshelves to a wall? He's your guy. I will be honest. He is not cheap. He doesn't hire illegal labor and he works his ass off. It's worth the money when you've got a good home investment to make. He won't cut corners and rip anyone off. If you have a bigger project to do that involves any form of carpentry, as well as plumbing, electricity, etc, I highly encourage you to start with him. He has good contacts and takes pride in his work, and so do the people he works with.
