This company scammed me! I should have looked them up first then I would have realized they had a 3 star review! I spoke to the sales rep about doing a residential topography survey. I sent him the requirements that were needed to which he agreed. Once I received the "deliverables" they were unusable as it was not a topography survey it was later revealed this was topography mapping. I called Fly Guys for nearly a month. The sales rep never called me back. The other rep assigned to my project would not call me back. I had to sales just to get in contact with yet another rep who could not help me. I lost over $3,000 because of Fly Guy's illegitimate business practices on top of the $2,500 I paid them. I requested a refund and was willing to eat the $3,000 that I lost because of them. I received an email from a random rep, that never bothered to reach out to me before, only for him to say, "our website says we are NOT LICENSED." Then why did your sales rep say you were!? I can go on and on but this company is NOT a licensed land surveyor and will tell you anything to get a sale. See you in small claims! read more

This company flew a drone in my backyard about 6-8 feet off the ground. The drone spent some time peering into the windows of our home and consistently hovered less than 25 feet above our property. The company did not contact any of our neighbors to warn us that this would be happening. While it is standard protocol to fly drones for solar inspections, it is NOT standard protocol to peer into the windows of the home. Jonathan Schlicher, the company's manager, was rude, and condescending and said that Fly Guys has the right to the airspace around our home. He never once acknowledged that peering into the windows of a house with a drone is not standard operating procedure. A simple apology goes a long way. This was such a disappointing conversation with what appears to be a reputable company.
