Years ago, while on birth-control, my daughter developed DVT. She went to her prescribing doctor in Flagstaff, who told her nothing was wrong. Then she went to the hospital in Flagstaff. Someone told her she needed to go to Phoenix immediately. Doctor Wittenberg scheduled Interventional Radiology for the next day. The clot had blocked her lower leg and gone all the way up her artery, into the vena cava and was very close to her heart. Overnight they put her on blood thinners to try to reduce the clots. Dr. Wittenberg carefully removed as much of the clot as he could, going in from her hip. Many people are left to wear constricting leg wear after DVT. He was able to remove so much of the clotting that she has not had further problems with this in her life. I am so grateful to him for saving her life. I am grateful that he was able to save the quality of her life as well. He is kind, he spent a great deal of time with me after the surgery explaining everything. He is skillful. He is humble, never arrogant. Years later, seeing his photograph, I am once again filled with gratitude for this amazing skilled and talented doctor. Thank you Doctor Wittenberg!

We have seen Dr. Muhm twice now and I'm convinced that he is the best doctor out there. He actually listens to what you are saying and tries to get to the bottom of the issue. Most just give you an antibiotic and send you on your way but with Dr. Muhm I actually received a specialists phone call the same day as our appointment with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a conversation with you about all of your options. I highly recommend him and he will be our primary care doctor for both of my children without a doubt.

We could not find anyone open Friday after the holiday, and resorted to leaving a message, expecting to struggle through the weekend and hear back on Monday. How pleasantly surprised we were to get a call back from Dr. Tarazi's staff same day! I wish I had written down her name - she was incredibly helpful and efficient. As it turns out, the offices were closed but he was there working on charts, and offered that we come in. I was astounded, we weren't even established patients with the practice and he was willing to take the time to see us last minute - we were told to come right in. The compassion and care he showed towards my nervous and uncomfortable young adult was beyond anything we have recently experienced. The situation was handled, he was thorough and knowledgeable. We are clearly not just a face or number in this practice, he genuinely cares about his patients. I am confident that my entire family will be in good hands with Dr. Tarazi, and we have already referred other family members. We are very grateful!

I didn't eat prior, i didn't have anyone to drive me home. I went alone bc i was under the impression it was just a follow up. I get there and told I'll be getting a band. I asked if it will hurt they tell me it shouldn't hurt much. They didn't give me any anesthesia before hand. After it was done i was in so much pain. I wasn't given ANY paperwork on information about the banding. When i got into my car i got light headed and i couldn't drive nor sit. I had to lay in my car for 15-20 mins before leaving with my AC on blast bc i was overheating. Driving home i was in terrible pain, i couldn't sit while driving i had to stop many times on my way home which was a 20 min drive. I got home and laid on my bed and starting crying uncontrollably. My mom had to take the day off to come over and take care of me. I'm 28. She had to go get my meds for me and food bc mind you i haven't ate yet for the day. I ended up on bed rest for a week and half, i couldn't do anything for almost 2 weeks. I was always in pain. ALWAYS. When i asked the dr about it he just shrugged me off like i was crazy and just wanted more drugs. When i asked for more pain meds he told me he couldn't give me more even tho i was in Terrible pain... Follow up to today, i get a call from their receptionist Jane asking about my appointment tomorrow. I go to confirm it & explain my issues with the last appointment i went too. She then starts to talk down on me and tells me well if i knew i was susceptible to fainting etc i should have had someone drive me home. I explain that nothing was told to me besides it was a follow up. She continued to talk down to me and interrupt me. I had to ask her many times to stop interrupting me and let me speak. Eventually i told her if this is how things are going to be I'll be going to a new doctor. With a snarky remark she goes well then go find a new one. Absolutely shocked i told her I'll be talking to the doctor tomorrow & hung up. After thinking about this though. I called back, cancelled my appointment and I'll be finding a new doctor. I don't appreciate being spoken to like this as a patient and i feel like part of it is bc i am on acchss and the way i look as i have tattoos and colored hair. It doesn't matter NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY PERIOD.
