I waited and waited watching cars to the left of me and right of me go in, get service and leave I even watched a car arrive 20 mins after me get service and leave, but I remained cool, cool as can be. The lady next to me waited half the time as I did and went full "karen" but again, I stayed cool.. finally a worker told me the car in front of me was having transmission fluid issues and that's why the long wait, but I'm like why couldn't they tell me or moved me up next on the other bays since I was literally there 30-45 mins before everyone else.. But I stayed cool, really cool..Finally it was my turn and I was out of there in 12 mins which took a total of an hour and 10 mins. they really need to have a fair way of getting first come first serve dialed in. All & all ; no discount offered, they did apologize. PRO Tip - When at one of these oil change places, DO NOT get behind an old vehicle, get behind a newer car, the line moves faster and less chance of falling into my situation today.

Thefts have been increasing lately and Prius's have been heavily targeted along with my partner's Honda Element right in front of our house. So I'm really glad that Green Drop was able to take a look at my car to put me at ease. I called around 2, was able to get in at 3 & they were done by 4! There was also nice coffee shop nearby twentysix; where I was able to hang out and get some work done that I lost track of time, but luckily I was able to get back, thank goodness Caleb not only called but also texted my phone. Highly recommend this shop; one of my favorite green drop locations!

The cost was $141 including taxes and took about 1.5 hrs. The advisor told me that there was a nail in one of my tires and recommended that I need to change out all 4 tires because it was in a no repair area and I shouldn't just replace one tire. They quoted me close to $900 ($200 for labor). I went to get a second opinion at Discount Tire and within an hr, the service technician said the nail was in the area covered by the steel belts so they were able to patch it at no cost. I called to let Green Drop Garage know that I was able to patch the tire. Edit: I talked with corporate and they me know the inability to patch the tire was a liability issue based on DOT guidelines. The lack of explanation is a training issue. I'm glad for the responsiveness.

My car was there Friday to Friday and the technicians sent me constant updates with pictures even videos through out the course of the work being done. He was especially helpful with working with my work schedule being that I work until late at night well after they close. Will be coming back for any other work I need done to my car if needed. I listened in as the attendant was working with the previous client, when it comes to a woman going into a maintenance shop there is that stigma with women and car shops. I'm always on alert when I'm at a car shop because mechanics have been known to overcharge women. When it was my turn I had said i was there for my appointment, but the massive American flag outside is what made me ask this question. I had asked if this was a locally owned shop which they agreed but I asked what their stance is on the climate of the country and they said they all have different stances. As a veteran who served this country I don't feel comfortable giving my money, my car or the belongings in my car to this shop. Or leaving my car unattended with them. I stated this, and this attendant started telling me about this and that. I don't care. I care about my community, and if my money is going to the right places. And I got my confirmation that it is not here.

Poor Mechanic Diagnosis - Overcharged Customer…read more Since my words are deemed important according to Comfort's review, here goes. I brought in a 2002 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 Quadrasteer pickup i bought new 24 years ago. My truck WAS in PERFECT condition when I bought it to Comfort. Adian the mechanic who worked on my truck, was excited as were the owner Daniel & the other mechanic. I brought the truck in for the simple installation of a 320-amp MechMan alternator. I was charged $204 dollars for what I was told would take an hour. 4+ hours later, it cost me $393 dollars. 90 mins after dropping it off, the excuses started. Adian said he needed to charge me additionally because the unit had a connector that was germane to the alternator & THAT install would take another hour & a half. Not long after that, I was advised that he had blown a fuse & was working to correct that. I was surprised to hear that and commented on it. Adian assured me it ok & he would get it replaced & get my truck back to me. When I came to pick it up, the excuses started once again; this time, he said the connector that came with the alternator was "bad" & that I would have to contact Mechman and request a new one. I specifically asked Adian if he did a voltage test on the connector & he said "NO". When I got in the truck to leave, the battery icon would flash every 5 seconds, BUT the real killer was that my Quadrasteer no longer operated!! In a nut shell Adian had returned my truck to me broken & unreliable. When I went to Comfort initially was because they are a neighborhood shop within walking distance. I told both Adian & the owner Daniel was was looking for a shop I could work with. I have multiple vehicles that I wanted to push their way for auto care. Daniel's shops which include a body & paint division, are clean & very well organized! And to be clear, I told him that was one thing that drew me in. I have lived in this area nearly my entire life. I was excited at the possibility of working w/ Comfort. But that will NEVER happen. Adian was in over his head w/ a rare truck that I have worked to preserve. Now here is what I had to do to fix my truck.....I had to get it towed an hour away to my regular mechanic of 15 years....this guy is also a race mechanic who takes care of my 2016 CTSV & my 2023 CT5 Blackwing. He fixed the problem in under an hour by installing the jumper harness and wiring it to the under-hood fuse block. The alternator is now charging, the battery icon no longer flashes & the quadrasteer now works. I'm pretty pissed about paying $400 to a mechanic only to have my truck returned to me broken. Daniel seems like an owner who cares about his business & Paul, the service manager, handles customers the right way from what I saw. Two women came in while I was there and his approach to them like me was calm & respectful. This was a valuable lesson & expensive! I know Comfort will keep my money, but I will never go near Comfort & as a heads-up to Daniel, I will be posting this review in its entirety everywhere. Since I was told when filling this out that my words matter, the truth is what I wrote here. Ron a
