I was planning a trip to Germany. I always like to include some dowry activity. My German friends suggested paragliding. I already have my pilot license in the USA so I thought it would be great to learn to paraglide. After a good referral I picked Werfenweng Austria to learn to paraglide. It is located about 45 minutes south of Salzburg in beautiful Alp mountains. I was concerned about not understanding the language but was up for the challenge. This proved to not be an issue because although English was rarely used here, it was widely understood. I never had a problem. I found Austriafly to be a great flight school. All the instructors spoke English quite well. Even though I was the only English speaking student. I also found the education to be very complete. I always felt I understood their instruction both in practice and theory. I am going to return here to continue paragliding lessons on my next holiday. I highly recommend them. I also highly recommend the entire Werfenweng area. Great food. Everything within an easy walk. I didn't rent a car. I found public transportation easy. Even from the Salzburg airport. Ken read more
