August. September. October; and, now eleven days into November 2024. What is amazing, given this retired lawyer's experience with Premier Built Garage, is the ongoing inconsistency of what has been communicated to me these past months, as documented in writing. Remarkably, today, they texted me to 'apologize' for the 'inconvenience' and, given their assumption I will wait for them to resume business in May 2025. I have requested a walk-a-way proposal for a full refund and to include credible consideration for my so-called 'inconvenience'. My request for proposal is made the same date they advised me they were not proceeding with the project. I have had to cance al buy/sell contract because of Premier Garage' lack of reasonable... let alone specific... performance. I hope they get this settlement phase of the project right. However, I remain less than optimistic. In any event, and unfortunately, whether personally or professionally, I cannot recommend Premier Built Garage for any building/development contract/project given the present circumstances. I am of the opinion there are likely other contractors, that specialize in garage builds, and, that can build a $40,000 garage should the contract start in August. Continue the Project through September and October, in order to have it completed and signed off on by November of the same year.

They acquired all permits and the garage and deck were completed just a little over a month from the time I signed the contract. We had to wait another month for the city to do the inspection but as soon as it was done the immediately contacted me for a walkthrough. We absolutely love both the deck and the garage and I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a garage or deck. Amazing work in some pretty trying winter conditions. I phone Basement system Edmonton and they came on the same day December 17, 2019, after pumping the excess water to my shower room and install the new pump. The job seems to look good. Two days after my basement alarm on again and water was rising. I call the company December 19, 2019 and answering machine said "we are on holiday and will be back January 2, 2020. ( no one called me back) and sent email ( the email was bounced ) with a pending emergency in my basement I call another company to help me with my basement problem.

The insulation is very poorly done. I can hear the breathing of my downstairs tenants. After six months the flooring and caulking is coming off in the bathroom. The position for the microwave plug is weirdly placed. When the furnace was installed there was leak in the furnace room. The contractor was not accepting it as their fault and claimed that it was the builder's fault. They didn't even came to check when I informed them. When the builder's tradesman came they found out that the contractor didn't glue the pipes for the second furnace they had installed. I asked for a grey flooring. The contractor insisted on beige. I later found out they insisted on beige because they had another work where they needed beige flooring, which helped them to cut cost. The basement was not cleaned after the work was completed. It was dusty and metal pieces were all over the floor. I had to do the cleanup myself before the appliance people brought the appliances to not hurt their feet with metal. In short the work was done very poorly. I do not recommend this company.

I was out of town and arranged for someone to meet them at my house to let them in. I had asked that they call me when they were at my house so I could explain the history of the problem, which was complex. When Kevin went to my house, he did not bother to call me. Without knowing the extensive troubleshooting I had done in the preceding 2 months, he told the person who met him at my house that it was not a foundation problem and left it at that. When I left repeated messages requesting an explanation, he did not call back. Instead, he sent a 2-sentence email that explained nothing and stated rudely that it was not his responsibility to inform me about his assessment. I can only assume he did not view the work needed on my house as worth his while. When I tried to explain why I wanted to know how he reached his conclusion, he sent me another rude email saying he was done communicating with me. When I posted a negative review on Google, he replied in writing with insults, claiming that I had not treated him well, and that I had no business writing a review because he did not want me as a client. He implied that I had unreasonable expectations at a time when his business was booming due to heavy rainfalls, expressing no empathy for me as a homeowner seeking help to manage distressing consequences of the heavy rainfalls.
