As we pulled up the gravel driveway we were directed to park in the grass as there is no formal parking lot. Normally this doesn't bother me but I do drive a very small car that is not meant to go off roading. If it had been rainy or any other kind of not so good weather, I could easily see getting stuck in the grass/mud, so keep that in mind when visiting. The barn is very old and rustic, but in decent condition, however it is EXACTLY that.... a barn. Very drafty and on a 40 degree day, downright cold! The floor is uneven with large gaps, so DO NOT WEAR HIGH HEELS! I only wish I had known this before attending as I spent much of the time watching where I was walking so as not to trip and fall on my face. The walls and ceiling are also very rustic (drafty). It had a large loft filled with straw and hay, therefore they do not generally allow any type of heating source, but they made an exception for the wedding and the families were able to bring three propane heaters. The decor however was lovely. Hanging all around the barn were dried flowers and there were vines wrapped with white lights, giving a beautiful ambiance. The barn has electricity, so the DJ and caterer were able to utilize that amenity, but be warned, there is no restroom. The Bride and Groom actually rented a portable "outhouse" for their guests to utilize. There is a "dance floor" that is down in the barn, which is basially two large flat pieces of wood over the floor, but it at least covers all of the holes so no one breaks an ankle trying to dance! Over all, I think the barn was a beautiful place to have a wedding but I would suggest having your special day sometime during the year that is warmer.

No big deal, I've been to plenty events held in renovated barns to host large events. There's only one problem... This barn isn't renovated. To say its rustic is a polite way of saying it needs some serious maintenance. We were caught unprepared. The floor had gaps in it between just about every board. You could see straight down to the lower section of the barn. Some of these gaps were wide enough that the ladies that were present in heels would get their heel stuck if they were not very careful. I saw it happen a couple of times. The walls are not insulated and there are holes and gaps there too. Making the barn pretty drafty, which last weekend when we were there the temperatures where in the 40's and it was cold. There was no heat. The parents of the bride brought some portable heaters with them, but that wasn't enough to warm such a large building. This time of year, you expect to have cold weather, so if you are planning an event here, keep the outside temperatures in mind. The parking is actually done in the barn yard. If you have a vehicle that is not up to off roading, you'll need to go a little slow, but you'll be okay. I'm not sure what all they use this location for, but it is easy to get from the interstate. It's large and spacious allowing for large groups of people to gather. Overall, I think with a little maintenance and upkeep this could be a really great location.

I tried a few e-juices and came across one that I really liked (Dragon Scape). I made my purchase and headed out. Usually I'd stay to try more, but I was with two non-vapers. I thought the prices were decent. I didn't have a chance to try the house juices, but will next time.

The staff were really friendly and knew exactly kind of juice I would be looking for despite me being really picky about what I vape. It also helped that they were pretty caught up in the times and had tablets with built in software to showcase their products by types and categories. The top 10 list helped me pick out my juice. They have individual tanks filled with each of their juice so you know exactly what you're tasting since the coil hasn't had any other type of flavor on it, which was a first for me. They didn't have the juice I wanted in a 3ng but the guy there assured me that the flavor in 6ng wasn't too harsh on the throat(which I'm sure most of us hate). And funny enough he wasn't wrong which goes to show they know what they're talking about and aren't just trying to make a quick sale. Military discount as well which never goes unappreciated. I won't ever be back since I was just driving through the state but I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone stopping through. Thanks !

I got a call a few days later saying the motor was discontinued, and the replacement was $480. I said no problem, get it coming. Then a Jack calls me up saying he needs more money to cover tax. Huh? I am in California, you are in Illinois, and your website didn't ask for tax. His explanation is they shipped direct from the motor supplier, so they have to collect tax. My explanation is I bought it from you, not your motor supplier, so your reseller certificate should cover the tax problem. and you should ship it to Illinois, if you want to avoid that. Well, Gilly the manger doesn't care, and told me its the law, blah blah blah, and even though I explained to him how taxes work, and its who your buying it from not who your shipping it to. The fact that this company docent want to ship it into their warehouse, they want to ship it direct is the reason the tax is being triggered, even though they had the wrong price on the motor, and are continuing to waste my time, they don't seem to care. Their web site say Customer Service is our number one goal for 60 years, well I beg to differ. They clearly don't care about me or my needs, and just want to nickel and dime me. ORDER CANCLED!!!
