The man I spoke with on the phone asked what kind of flowers I would like to send my mother-in-law for her birthday. He suggested stargazer lilies. I said yes, those and green hydrangeas and roses. He repeated it back to me and I said yes. I got a picture of the flowers from my MIL and they used ORANGE gerbera daisies instead of the stargazer lilies. When I called him and said that there weren't any stargazers like he had discussed, he first said I don't remember anything about lilies. Then when I pressed it and repeated back the conversation we had about them, he then said well it wasn't done maliciously. I told him I think this is bad business. He repeated himself that it wasn't done maliciously and he could exchange the flowers my MIL had already received with lilies. Surprised that there was no apology given and that he wouldn't automatically compensate me for their mistake, given that my MIL's bday was yesterday, I told him never mind. I spent $77 on an arrangement of flowers that looks like the $25 bouquet at the local grocery store. A small glass vase doesn't cost over $45. And I live in another state, otherwise I would have bought grocery store flowers for my MIL. read more

Ordered a dozen roses from this shop. I was very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. The arrangement seemed to be prepared by a young child. I attempted to contact the store and was met by a defensive representative who offered no apology or attempt to rectify the issue. I was Very VERY disappointed at the floral arrangements delivered to my aunt's funeral. I sent pictures to Flower Hut and several other florists of what Exactly I was expecting from them. The guy I spoke with told me they could make both arrangements look almost exactly like the pictures I sent - He said they could look even better! They gave me a price for what I wanted and so I agreed to go with them. I later arrived to the funeral home And When I Saw Both Arrangements - Needless To Say I Was FURIOUS!! Both flower arrangements looked NOTHING like what I had asked for - I mean NOTHING LIKE IT. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money like I did. I myself will Never use them again!! read more

I ordered a rubber tree and a lily of peace was delivered. I was not notified of the change. When SPECIMEN plants are available online, you need to deliver that product. I received a photo of the incorrect plant and I called the shop. The gentleman told me that he might be able to swap it out for what I ordered the following Monday... never heard from him again. DO NOT order specimens from them. They will just send you a smaller, cheaper plant to try and make more money. Think of all the people that never actually see what is delivered once they order it. Regret going there! Went to buy two boutonnieres that needed to be picked up on two different dates. One of them was going to be picked up on May 9 and was going to cost me $5 more than the one that needed to be picked up a few days before. When I asked why the difference in price, he rootly said because it was close to mothers day and his time was money. I turned around and left to Michael Allen's where they charged me the same price regardless of the date. I had a bad feeling the minute I walked in. The place is not inviting.
