I contacted and went to see this school hoping to enroll my child and let them know that he has…read moreautism and currently receives speech and occupational therapy. He is high-functioning but has difficulty communicating and expressing his needs verbally. He has also just turned 2, so he still had a lot of growth to do. I was asked whether I would be able to provide support or assistance for him while he attended. I am a working mom, they wanted me to be at the school with him which I cannot because how would I be able to afford the tuition without working. I was then told that I would receive a call back, but no one ever followed up with me after I was told on the phone I would need to assist him in the school. Although, my child has autism he is very capable. I think the word taunted the director creating a bias before even actually working with my child. The experience left me feeling that the school is not inclusive. I would recommend looking elsewhere if your child is neurodivergent or has any type of learning disability in any way. Thankfully, my child is now attending another school where he is welcomed, supported, and thriving.

Over the past 2 and half years, we have seen significant growth in her emotional and mental well being. We do not have any close family near by so initially she had a hard time warming up to the teachers/support she did not see on a normal basis. The teachers, directors and the Montessori approach made it easier for her to become the little confident person she is today in which I thank them for their care and support. Additional Notes: The school itself is located on PCH so it is a busy during rush hour. There are times that getting in and out of the school can be troublesome. However, the school itself feels secure and I didn't worry too much about her safety as there are a lot of gates. Since we have been there for a while, we have seen a few changes in staff and was questionable at times. However, the current director does her best to manage the changes and notifies the parents as soon as possible. The director and teachers are very caring and do their best to accommodate the changes as well. The school uses an app for communication about your child and it is very convenient as they update throughout the day such as meals and if they took a nap, etc. It made me feel less anxious. I do feel that they are aligning well with the academics while fully embracing the Montessori guidance. My daughter does well with independent play and loves to learn. She shows an interest in many subjects. Thank you PCMA for the good memories and we will miss you guys!

Since enrolling our daughter 2 years ago, we've seen such incredible growth in her--both socially and developmentally. She's become more confident, communicative, and curious, and it's been so rewarding to watch her thrive in this environment. The teachers and staff truly make this place special. They are warm, patient, and incredibly dedicated to the children in their care. It's clear how much effort and heart they put into what they do every single day. We especially appreciate the balance they maintain--while they keep parents informed and updated, their main focus is rightfully on caring for and engaging with the kids. We understand that constant, hourly updates aren't realistic in a hands-on environment like this, and it honestly reassures us that their time and attention are going toward the children. We always feel that our daughter is safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The communication we do receive is thoughtful and meaningful, and we trust the team completely. You can truly tell that this school puts a lot of thought into creating a positive and enriching environment. We're so grateful to have found a place where our daughter is happy, learning, and growing every day. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a loving and supportive daycare! We would like to mention every person who has helped in our daughter's development and character: Thank you to Teacher Charlie and Ms. Diana. Ms. DeJahnae, Ms. Marie, Ms. Ciara, Ms. Jenna Ms. Cynthia, Ms. Dilrushki, Ms. Zahra, Ms. Nicole Ms. Mary, Ms. Lizbeth, Ms. Marsol, Ms. Jeong And of course, Chef Jose. (I hope I didn't miss anyone) You are all amazing!!! We're so glad that our daughter is surrounded by all of you. Thank you.

As a mom, I'm sure everyone can relate when I say that, even though our children are still so young, we want to start them off as early as possible in an environment that provides the very best education, care, and foundation for their future. My ultimate goal for my daughter was to find somewhere she felt safe, comfortable, loved, and encouraged to learn, not somewhere where she was simply playing all day. She had previously attended two other schools, and through those experiences, I learned that what mattered most to me was finding a school that could truly unlock a child's talents through a combination of learning AND play. Leap & Bound has one of the best, if not THE best, curriculums I have experienced for young children. My daughter has been with them since she was 2, and she is now 4. In that time, she has learned how to write her name, count in Spanish, and so much about science and the world around her. I'll never forget one day when she came home and excitedly told me they had made DNA! As a mom, hearing things like that absolutely amazed me. I truly owe so much of my daughter's development, confidence, curiosity, and love for learning to the incredible teachers and staff at Leap & Bound. They have played such a huge role in shaping the little person she is today. It is so bittersweet to be leaving our Leap & Bound family because we are moving to the East Coast. But I will forever be grateful that we found this school and that my daughter had the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive there. If you are a family searching for a school that not only values play, but is equally passionate about education, development, and creating a close-knit family environment, this is the school for you. I cannot recommend Leap & Bound enough!
