Great diner in Winona, MO. I had a cheeseburger, which was fresh and much better than I expected, and battered onion rings. Sis had taco salad, mom had pulled pork sandwich. Nice ambience, attentive servers, but... Yelp DOES NOT SHOW PROPER LOCATION. They show the restaurant at junction of highways 19 and 60... it's actually on highway 19 about 1/4 mile north of highway 60... west side of rhe road, next to Dollar General. read more

I have eaten here several times and so far everything on the dinner menu has been a regret. This time was the last straw. I ordered the chicken fried steak, thinking they couldn't possibly screw that up, and I was sadly mistaken. Not only was it nearly burnt, but the breading was weird and the gravy was revolting. At least the salad was edible. The chicken strips I got the kids were okay, and the burgers are decent. I strongly recommend sticking away from the dinner menu. The service is very good, the waitresses are very friendly, but whoever is cooking needs a sit down with some decent cookbooks. read more

Cute little restaurant. Stopped in while visiting family in area. I was not expecting this place to be so delicious! I LOVE meat loaf! Normally I dont order it tho bc I've found its either hit or miss. However it was on special so I figured I give it a try. WOW!!! It was perfect. Not greasy at all, great flavor, & held together perfectly! Mashed potatoes were deffiently a home made delight. Everything so yummy! Friendly waitress with a welcoming down home charm. GPS was not quite accurate in that it showed this place right on the highway ( it was actually just about 1/4 mile off highway 60). You turn on Hwy 19 going north & it about 1/4 mile on left across from the little school. Good comfort food when you don't do fast food chains. Large breakfast selection on menu w/ quite a few items including biscuits & gravy. For lunch, they have many hot & cold sandwich choices. read more

Saw the number of local license plates in the parking lot & how well-kept Flossie's looked from the outside, so decided to stop here for lunch when we were vacationing nearby. So glad we did! I had the best tenderloin sandwich I've had in years. My friend was very impressed with the jalapeno poppers and BLT he had, too. The only thing better was the peach pie & ice cream. This is really a neat small town restaurant. The Thursday night music is really a fun thing to experience. I highly recommend it.

We stopped in on our way home from vacation. Not only was the food terrific, the service great, the prices were lower than any I've seen in a long time and the bathroom was clean! I will definitely be stopping back in when I am in the Winona area. read more
