When we first started planning our wedding a friend gave us great advice to find a photographer…read morethat you actually like and enjoy being around because you end up spending your entire wedding day with your photographer. It was true! But aside from being a great, funny and fun-loving couple, The Pogos are amongst the best photographers you could hire to capture your wedding day. I've hired photographers before for work projects (nyc fashion photographers) and was blown away with the Pogos talent, equipment and work. As part of our photography package we also included an "engagement session", which was great as it gave us a chance to get to know Emily and Steve prior to our wedding day and get some practice in front of their cameras. It felt like just a fun day hanging out with friends in the park. Our photo session was under 2 hours and I was very impressed with how many great shots they got in that short amount of time. I was expecting maybe a dozen or so "good ones", but ended up with about 100 gorgeous shots! That's incredible for such a short amount of shooting time. I can only imagine how many beautiful shots we'll be getting from a full wedding day's time to work with. At our rehearsal dinner our guests got to know the Pogos as well and many commented on how fun and entertaining they were. On our wedding day, the Pogos were there taking charge during the formal photos and casually blended in with the party during the reception. I am confident they didn't miss a beat capturing every moment! Thank you Em and Steve for photographing our wedding!

I needed some simple Christmas photos done of my husband and I to send out as part of our Christmas…read morecards to our families in NY and GA since they don't get to see us as much as we'd like. I needed something low cost, simple, and not so fussy so we looked through facebook and found a photographer suggestion from a friend. She sent me the link to Kari Simeone's page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Topanga-Marie-Photography-by-Kari-Simeone/237419089698012 I loved her work as it was so simple and straightforward. She works with pets, too! She donates half of her profits to an animal rescue that she works with in West Palm Beach. So, my husband and I decided to contact her and set up an appointment to do a shoot. She replied quickly and set us up the following weekend. The price was very reasonable and she was so friendly, I could tell it would be a great shoot. We met up with Kari at Dreher Park on a beautiful sunny day and she brought along a lot of holiday props in case we wanted to spruce up the photos. She had a great selection of props. The shoot was very easy going, flexible, and she said she had come to the park the day before to check out where the "good" spots would be to ensure there'd be pretty blossoms and such to give us a variety of scenes to shoot on. The following evening, she gave us a sneak preview of the photos on her facebook page and we LOVE them! I am waiting to get my photos on a CD in a few days so I can go and choose and print them out myself. My husband and I are really impressed with her work, how reasonably priced it was, how friendly she was, and that the best part is she loves her job enough to just donate half of the proceeds of her work to an animal rescue. I just LOVE that, a job with dual purposes! We definitely will be returning to her and recommending her to other friends and especially if they've got kids and pets! She's just so wonderful with them as you can tell by her photos.

Originally I had thought that my fiance and I could tackle the planning and execution of creating a dream wedding on our own. We very quickly learned the amount of time, money, research, organization and STRESS that goes into trying to plan your own wedding. I reached out to Jenna and after speaking with her on the phone and meeting in person, we immediately recognized her value which came through her knowledge & experience of wedding/event planning, Jenna's ability to leverage her extensive network of vendors & contacts, and her willingness to listen to & understand our wants/needs/expectations. The best decision I made... of course, 2nd to marrying Ashley, was retaining Jenna with Your Sparkling Event's services. Jenna quarterbacked our entire wedding planning process. She was involved in every step: touring different venues until we found the right one, guidance with the bride/groom/wedding party attire, photography, videography, DJ, floral, save-the-dates/invites, food/appetizers/hor d'oeuvres/bar, rehearsal dinner planning... you name it! My wife Ashley and I really only got as involved as we wanted & needed to be. When the day finally came, 1/19/2019, my bride Ashley and I felt calm & confident, knowing that we could enjoy our wedding day and expect it to go "as planned", because of our partnership with Jenna of Your Sparkling Event. Jenna and the Your Sparkling Event team, we cannot thank you enough for creating our DREAM WEDDING! There is absolutely NO WAY we could have pulled it off without you. Your professionalism, attentiveness, industry knowledge/experience and resourcefulness were evident throughout our time working with you. If we could give Your Sparkling Event a 6 star review, we would have! Jenna and team... On behalf of Ashley, myself and the entire Post/Grupp family, we will be forever grateful for you for planning us the BEST WEDDING IMAGINABLE!

He arrived 15 minutes late to our wedding ceremony. When we received our photos, many were heavily overedited with unnatural tanning, excessive retouching, and obvious editing errors, including guests' body parts appearing to be missing. Just two days after we received the gallery, I requested the original, unedited photos. I was shocked to be told they had already been deleted to make room for a new client. Instead of taking responsibility, he claimed it was my responsibility to have requested the originals in advance. Deleting a client's wedding photos within days is, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. I also asked for a short complimentary photo session to help make up for the disappointing results, but that request was denied. Our wedding photos are memories we can never recreate, and we are left with images that do not accurately reflect one of the most important days of our lives.
