What a disappointment…read more My husband wanted to switch doctors to a big medical center (ConViva) nearby, but they don't accept HealthSun, so he has to stay with Chen Medical, which has fallen apart in the past few years. He tried to find a dentist who accepts HealthSun and was told he had to use a dentist from the Florida Dental Network. We called the Dental Network and were given only 3 dentists near us, all of who had terrible ratings. I was hoping to get OTC drugs by shopping at a pharmacy, but am restricted to a very useless list of OTC items to mail order. I think next year we will go back to Humana.

My experience with Florida blue reps at this office has been annoyingly frustrating. He started off by boasting of his 'expertise' as a Florida blue rep and assuring me that my husband and i are in great hands. The insurance was set up in October, after payment and confirming everything he gave a lot of assurances as far as the plan commencement date. When my husband arrived at the clinics he was told his last name was incorrect and placed as the primary and his coverage for dental and health was a month out when I called Emmanuel about the error he became extremely defensive and argumentative and refused to own up to his errors. Eventually, I started to experience more issues with our plan as far as the immigration status etc.. etc and ended up having to restart another plan now. This has NOT been a great experience to say the least.
