I saw Dr. Verdi at FHC for significant foot pain, and I was so impressed by how compassionate and…read morekind he and his entire staff were. They were recommended on a town social media page. My appointment was prompt and on time, which I really appreciated. Dr. Verdi immediately made me feel comfortable and took the time to listen, explain what was going on, and take an X-ray. He clearly explained his recommendations and what I should do next. The office staff was also wonderful--friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I had such a positive experience and would absolutely recommend Foot Health Center to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor.

I recently visited Foot Health Center LLC in West Orange, NJ, where I have been a patient for more…read morethan two decades. After paying my copayment, I was told that I likely had not received my most recent bill, and to date, I still have not received that bill in the mail. Are they cutting expenses by not mailing out bills to save on the cost of stamps? Then I was then handed a bill for services provided in August 2026, and upon reviewing it, I noticed an error. The office corrected the error, leaving a balance of $50.02. At that point, the situation became troubling. I was told that I had to pay the balance immediately or it would be sent to collections. I explained that I would pay the bill only after I review my insurance company's Explanation of Benefits (EOB). After going back and forth with the office manager, Robin, she told me that if I did not pay the bill right then, I would not be allowed to see the doctor. This interaction left me feeling that collecting payment was being prioritized over my care and my well-being as a patient. Although I did not feel intimidated by her pressure, the experience was disappointing enough that I am now looking for another podiatrist--not because of the doctor, but because of how the situation was handled by the office manager.

Just for the fact he went out of his way to do this shows to me that this is actually a good business and run by good people. Hopefully he will rectify the situation with this staff member who acted this way because unfortunately this reflects poorly on the business. But he was wonderful and caring and it goes a long way! Thank you!
