Highly do NOT recommend working with this vendor. Dua was very unprofessional, terrible communication and full on lied. She did my friend's wedding decor and was suppose to move the decor between ceremony and never showed up. She said she was stuck in traffic and on the way, but never showed up. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. What this decorator did at my friend's wedding was beyond unprofessional, it was exploitative, manipulative, and disgraceful. I was part of the bridal party so I witnessed all of this first hand. She was paid in full for a full wedding decor package and delivered barely half of what was agreed upon. Despite being called out on it multiple times before and during the event, she ignored all concerns, responded with disrespect and threats, and then demanded full payment mid-wedding. When the couple asked to go over the invoice the next day (to fairly pay only for what was done), she threw a full-blown tantrum, began tearing down decor in front of guests & vendors, and caused a massive disruption right before the bride and groom's grand entrance which didn't even happen because she held up the entire event. She was spoken to privately to calm things down, and responded with more attitude, yelling, and manipulation. She forced the couple to pay under pressure, then blocked them immediately after. That alone shows she knew exactly what she was doing. What should have been a joyful celebration turned into hours of stress, damage control, and humiliation all because of this one vendor. If you are planning an event and considering hiring this vendor: run. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the heartbreak. She is dishonest, aggressive, and deeply unprofessional. To say that I was letdown and disappointed by Floral Outlet Co. is an understatement. Dua was hired for our wedding in October of last year and claimed to be able to provide signage and decor for our wedding. Specifically, she was paid to make the seating chart and welcome sign, as well as hang greenery from the rafters along with LED balls (the latter of which were provided to her by my mother). The day before the wedding, she brought the signs, which had several errors, including missing table numbers and misspelled names. Also, the signs were the wrong shape (e.g square instead of a semicircle cut out as was previously discussed over text message and email). We were unclear as to why there were errors on the signs as we sent over a final draft that did not match, and even some of the font that was used was incorrect. We sent her a message, asking how she would fix these errors as we understand that mistakes can happen. Due had said that she had to leave for an appointment when she dropped the signs off, and left my mother's friend to problem solve on her behalf. When contacted by my mother a few hours after she had gone to set up the items, Dua left her on read and proceeded to block her on all social media accounts. In addition to these errors, do I did not hang the greenery that was agreed upon as she had only hung up two rows as opposed to the multiple columns we had agreed on. Thankfully, our amazing day of coordinator was able to help rectify these mistakes, and ensure that the stand supporting these signs was sturdy as they were falling down. Furthermore, the agreement was that Dua would come and take down the greenery and lights that she set up, but she was nowhere to be found on our wedding day, leaving several of my family members to take these down themselves in their formal wear. When I contacted Dua over text message after the wedding asking her how she would like to rectify the problems -- since she only provided a fraction of her service despite taking our full payment -- she also left me on delivered and has likely blocked my phone number. She proceeded to post on several social media accounts (e.g. Facebook marketplace) about her business being available for hire, which added further insult to injury as she ignored our calls and text messages. Dua -- like I said in my text message to you, the way you went about this was completely unprofessional and frankly quite embarrassing. If you couldn't handle the job, we wished you would've communicated this directly instead of causing unneeded stress the night before my wedding. Hopefully other brides/grooms read this and take warning to avoid working with you, or at the very least, making sure that they don't pay you until the job is actually complete.
