The entrance has a tea store with a bona fide selection of teas. I love getting different varieties as gifts. I also LOVE getting the cinnamon buns as gifts. No lie, one cinnamon bun can be shared by a family of four. They are huge and delicious. I also adore the berry syrup here. I could drink it straight from the bottle, it's so tasty. I need to come back to Red Deer because so much of the menu looks good here!

The tea is fantastic, the rest of the food is slightly below Denny's quality and kinda so so. The bathrooms are also disgusting and like something from a truck stop. She helped me with choosing table styles and colors also made sure we were getting the best deal that we could before ordering the table. She would even text me instead of having to go in all time for any questions we both had, that made things so much easier with having three kids. The day I did go in to select colors she was so good with the kids and let them sit on the beds which kept them busy and happy! I will recommend her to anyone and La-Z-Boy seems like a great place to shop with amazing quality furniture.

On September 1st I walked into the store with $1000 and ordered three pieces, a couch and two chairs. I was told the furniture would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. I expected the furniture to arrive well before Christmas. When the furniture did not arrive by Christmas I started calling the store and visiting the store on a regular basis, I always talked to the sales person who took my order, her name was Christine. Every time I got a different excuse and most of the time she didn't know why the furniture was late. At NO time did she EVER call me or email me to keep me updated. Had she taken the time to call or email, I might not have been so mad. Once they got my money I was ignored. The furniture finally arrived February 25th - 6 months after I ordered it. When the truck arrived at our house, we were not at home so they took the furniture back to the store. I had called Christine and told her specifically to call my husbands cell phone when the truck was on its way so someone could be there, she did not do that and our furniture went back to the store. The second time the truck arrived, my husband was at home and the truck driver refused to unload the furniture unless we paid the remaining balance owed. That was not our original deal, we had signed up for the 12 payment plan at the store with a $1000 down payment. My husband was on the phone with the store for 30 minutes until they finally convinced the truck driver to unload our furniture. The customer service I received was so unbelievably bad that if there was a zero rating, that's what they would get. Christine eventually told me that our order had been LOST at the factory and she had to re-order the furniture which is why it took so long. I'll never buy anything from Lazy Boy, and my advice to other people is BUYER BEWARE.

I have been driving to Sylvan for a number of years to shop at this lovely Country Store. I have ALWAYS been treated with nothing less than professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness. The shop is full of merchandise to decorate your home or cottage with a country style. There is nothing in this store that spells dollar store so I believe Holly is not being honest in her views. If you had a bad experience then I feel bad for both you and your husband but again I will state that you are lying about what the shop has to offer. Nice try though!

There's as much of a small town vibe as one can expect out of a faceless, monstrous, anonymous giant retail construct. In any case, I don't feel as rushed or as crowded in or in danger of trampling ankle biters. The people who ask if I need help appear to be sincere about it and happy to be asking. They tend to watch the line up-front and get more cashiers on as appropriate. They also seem to try harder to fix things, find things and get things.
