The Cafe had a reasonably priced, and very extensive menu available. The staff in each department were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They've always sold a huge selection of gifts and this time they had a big selection of Wrendale items (which are a favourite of mine!), as well as handbags, accessories and lots of jelly cat toys. At the back they have a huge selection of greetings cards and some nice packs of Christmas cards for next month. So lovely to see the shop still busy like this!

When we did need advise, the staff were very knowledgeable and the prices were excellent. We could have gone to a major retailer in Ashford but chose not to as the bed we purchased was just as good and a fraction of the price, we needed a new bed not a second mortgage! Our bed was delivered today , just over a week after ordering. Not only did the deliver without charging an astronomical amount, they also built the bed and removed all wrapping taking it away. We will definitely use Dave Ian again and thank you gents for such excellent service and great value for money.5* recommended

The shop is well laid out with ample space for wheel chair access. They sell both paper back and hard back books. They will also offer to buy your used books off you but you need to check with them before taking them in as they do some times have too many books and will not purchase anymore at that time. The owner is usually manning the shop himself and is friendly and helpful. The shop always has large selection of well known authors books on their shelves
