Flooring Express is a hometown flooring store. They have a decent amount of product to choose from. The employee I chatted worth definitely knew his stuff. He has been in the business a while. I found him to be personable. He was able to answer my questions easily. I found their prices to be pretty competitive. I just came here to browse. I am not ready to purchase yet. Worst customer service that I have ever had with a company. I couldn't imagine working with them. They were disrespectful over the phone when I asked for an estimate and got ruder they asked how they compared to other quotes and I told them they were higher. read more

I wanted to replace the carpet in my master bedroom with vinyl planks. I went to Flooring Express after reading the positive reviews here on Yelp, and Jody was very helpful and informative, as his knowledge of flooring products is excellent. He worked within my budget, and I appreciate that. I chose my floor and set the installation date. The installer (Gary) arrived on time and did an outstanding job! He was fast, efficient, friendly and worked very neatly, plus he also helped me move some things. After the install was done, Jody called me to ask if all had gone well, which was a nice touch. All this being said, I am very happy and satisfied with my new bedroom floor and with the service I received from Flooring Express, from beginning to end. Do Not recommend shopping here spent over 2 hours 6/28 picked out complete bathroom tile bull nose flooring etc was told someone would contact me to measure etc week ;later no call was told would get call no later than 7/7 guess what still NO call , they're loss we were doing several other rooms in the house also which salesperson Chuck was aware . Very disappointed will never shop there again they lost a big job.Just sad No customer Service waisted all this time could have already been started Really Bad News!!! No Stars deserved!!! read more

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!!! I just hired them to install wood floors in my 4 bedrooms, and they totally went above and beyond what I expected. Jody, the owner, has been in this business for 30+ years and knows more about floor installation than anyone else I spoke to in town! I called around because the job I needed was complicated...I have marble in the main areas of my house and I wanted to replace the carpet in the bedrooms with hardwood. In order to make this work, I needed a subfloor installed first to raise the whole floor up so the hardwood would meet the marble in a flat plane. When I called Flooring Express, Jody answered the phone, and I could tell right away this guy is honest and really knows what he's doing. As a perfectionist, I had done my research on this project and I wasn't going to trust just anyone...he asked all the right questions and even had questions and concerns I never thought of. He personally came out to my house to look at the job, and his estimate was more than reasonable! He spent a lot of time talking to me about the project and understood exactly what I wanted. Then he meticulously planned out the best way to construct the subfloor, which ended up being a combination of plywood, cork, and a couple of other materials, so my hardwood would meet the marble perfectly. (I thought I was extreme when it comes to attention to detail, but this guy was over the top!!) When the time came to do the job, he sent an awesome crew!! Jose was the head installer, and he immediately noticed the concrete slab in my bedroom was not level. This would have made the whole floor slope down if not corrected...so he fixed the problem by pouring concrete in the area and re leveling the slab. He had the entire job finished in 3 days!!! My floors are GORGEOUS!! I just can't say enough about this place. It's so rare these days to find a business with such exceptional customer service and quality of workmanship...10 STARS!! The initial installation was nice however the luxury vinyl flooring shifted. We have asked them at least 7 times to come out to fix it as it is under warranty. They state they will come and never do. Disappointing considering the initial installation looked so nice. read more

I've just moved into my house and I had less then a week to get floors put in and move in. Chuck from flooring Express was at my house next day, gave me a great quote and got installers at my place next day installing. Laminate and carpet installation, there installers worked over 2 days all day and got the floors in and they look fantastic. I have used Flooring Express on 2 different occasions for different rental appartments that I own. Both times, I was very satisfied. The last installation was finished last week. I picked an upscale laminate floor that is beautiful. The installation was efficiently completed in 2 days, and it looks great. The folks from Flooring Express were able to work well with the condo association, meet all the rules and help me with those logistics. Flooring Express is not a place you want to do business. I noticed the other reviews on Yelp were not good as well. I bought laminate flooring from them about 4 years ago. The floor faded terrible near my 2 sliding glass doors. I contacted Jody, the owner, and told him about it. For about 4 weeks Jody would not respond to emails and calls. Finally he responded and told me it was not his problem since he did not make the laminate he only sold it, but he would try and call Century Flooring the distributor in Miami. The original boxes have a warranty against fading in the boxes which I still have. Jody emailed me a copy of a copy of a copy of an old one page faded sheet of paper which says there is no warranty for direct sun. Exact opposite of what my warranty says. My sliders are not direct sun, we have a roof over hang and lot of bushes and trees, there is no direct sun. Jody will not respond anymore and ignores all calls. He got my money 4 years ago and actually doing something for a customer takes time and effort right, so he takes the easy way out and ignores me and hopes I do not sue him. What a joke. Pathetic customer service. I am filing a complaint with the state against his company and the BBB. Wish I could give zero stars. read more
