I stopped by the Floor & Decor in Miami Gardens while I was in the area. Since I'm remodeling my bathrooms I was looking for specific tiles and accent tiles. This location is much less busy than the Kendall location (closest to me) which is nice shopping around without the crowds. I went straight to the bathroom tile section and initially couldn't find the tile I was looking for. After asking, I found out that specific tile I liked in the Kendall location was on markdown in the Miami Gardens store. That turned out to be a win for me, I was able to buy the tile for half the price compared to the Kendall store. It's good to know that depending on the Floor & Decor locations, some styles may be discontinued or on markdown since market demands are different. Definitely worth checking different locations if you're shopping for remodeling. The representative helped us out tremendously. We were in and out within 30 minutes. read more

The last time I did a major remodel was during the days of Expo. The designer helped me with major construction. I haven't found the right fit since then. My contractor recommended Home & Decor because of selection and prices. I went to a location in Broward one day and got some help but not really the help I needed. Today I made an appointment with a designer, and per Chat the store on 167th has the largest selection. I was lucky as I got an appointment with Yasmin. I suggest you call the front desk to get an appointment otherwise you get voicemail. Why was she 5 stars? Because she listened to MY needs. We purchased flooring for the entire house and a bathroom remodel. Very genuine person. She offered many options. If I found a lower price alternative she did try to steer me, we discussed pros/cons. I have other projects besides my personal home, and I feel comfortable in calling her and transacting via phone if necessary. The second person that was amazing was Jessica. We had trouble getting our credit card approval because of security freeze but she was able to help me through it. She offered alternatives ie 6 months, 18 months or a few years. All based on individual needs. I expect for an investment property the longer period may make sense. Jessica's understanding of the business aspect was excellent. I was impressed with the knowledge of the employees here of the stock. I had to ask a couple of them questions and I good answers. That you do not find often in places. I also have to them credit for the good customer service. The staff was approachable and wanted to help each time. I came looking for a new bathroom and found exactly what I was looking for and more. I found some clearance tile accents exactly what I needed for the other bathroom and found everything else for mine. I was glad I came. The marble and tiles are beautiful here. I found the price very good compared to other places. The place had more choices than I expected. It is beautiful here. The way they paired the tile combinations was very helpful. 5-6-23 Drove here today as it is the closest location from my home. Never shopped them before but they seem to be the largest and have a great selection. Unfortunately Ft. Lauderdale was hit on April 12th by two feet of rain in a matter of hours without warning. Being I live in a flood area my house got hit the worst. With water coming into my pantry/ laundry room from the garage. The floor lifted thus I am here to make the damage go away. So why four stars when everyone else gave three? Simple you can shop from home and choose what you want. Next you take a photo of the room and can add your desired flooring to see what it will look like. Hubby and I got it down to two and was going with my pick until I saw it in person. Colors were definitely different so got hubby's pick instead. Thankfully he has good taste aka he picked me. Angie from Floor & Decor was able to assist and since they didn't have all the product I needed will call me in the next two weeks when it arrives. Also note I purchased 10% extra for the installer and was told anything I don't use can be returned within 90 days. Right off the 826 in Miami gardens near all the large furniture stores, Floor & Decor has a grand selection of tiles and other flooring, and fixtures! It's a huge warehouse. You gotta hunt an employee down to get help which was a bit cumbersome but once you get a hold of a sales associate to help you, they do a great job of helping you with what you need. The only downside to shopping tiles and I don't know if this is something common in all flooring stores or just here, but when you need more tiles and it's been more than a month or so since your purchase, the shade of tile can vary even if you have the same item or SKU #. There is also a shade and caliber # to the tiles. If they no longer carry the one you purchased, then you're outta gas. However! If you're not too picky, the shade difference can be very subtle. It may be a shade darker or lighter. In the end, I suggest purchasing EXTRA of whatever flooring you end up purchasing. My first time working with such a project and I have learned my lesson! read more

If you're looking to re-do your floors be it a commercial space or your residential habitat, this place is your flooring paradise. I recently did one of the rooms and chose something simple and easy, so it was the faux wood floor in ash color. I also picked up a couple of the insulation rolls that come in blue and also a tile cutter which is super important. You can use a straight edge and a box cutter to cut the right sizes but the easiest way is to spend the extra $30 on cutter that will save you tons of time and strength. With a great return policy too, you can shop in confidence and not worry as you may with some of the smaller local mom pop stores. PLUS their inventory is insane. You'll never worry about them not having enough product for you to finish your project. In my first visit, the lady in the front was as friendly as you could imagine; super customer service and even gave me a 50% discount on the tile cutter since it looked used. read more

What better day than today to review Floor & Decor since my floors are being installed! I've never heard of Floor & Decor until a friend told me about this incredible and gynormous floor warehouse selling an endless assortment of tile, stone, and wood. Prices range from high end to very low end with lots of clearance pricing available on many items. If you're shopping at Home Depot for flooring, you're definitely missing out on both a wide variety and lower prices. This place is like a Costco for flooring with endless aisles of designs. There's something for everyone here and more. As we shopped, we picked three different designs of light wood flooring that looked natural and cozy for our home. We were able to compare all three side by side thanks to an easy labeling guide by Floor & Decor. I don't really have an opinion on their service as we didn't need to speak to anyone. We ended up browsing their website and making a purchase from there. Floor & Decor's website is very detailed. Each piece of flooring was found on there along with pricing, quality, and all specs. On a chart, it clearly states the following for each floor type: 1) Thickness - for durability and enhanced appearanced 2) Wear Rating - AC1 (light use home) to AC5 (high traffic commercial) 3) Warranty - ex: Lifetime Residential 4) Texture/Surface - the look and feel 5) Elevation Grade - best suited elevation from basement to upper level 6) Installation Type - saves time depending on type of install In addition to this, I really liked that the pricing was very clear and even stated Clearance Prices in red. It also includes price per sq ft, price per box, and amount of sq ft contained in each box. It was all calculatable (if that's a word) from the website. And to make it easier, you can plug in the total square footage that you need and the website calculates it for you. What I also really like is that the website tells you how many boxes of the particular item are in stock at your store location. If your store is out of stock, click on "check other stores" and you'll likely find it another store nearby. All of this is available at your fingertips without ever having to speak with an associate. If you've never bought floors before, my best advice would be to start at the very low end pricing and then pick the one with the highest quality. Floor & Decor has very good quality flooring on the low end. I ended up paying $2.29 per sq ft although they have plenty below $2 and even below $1 per sq ft. This floor purchase is just the beginning of all the costs associated with the project. You also need to include other costs such as floor removal and dump, underlayment, baseboards, installation, and additional unexpected costs in case something comes up when removing floors or something breaks. Asked for assistance lifting heavy pieces and told me they don't provide that service. On top of all of that today is 4/28 and this location is doing inventory. They have about 100 people on staff and everyone is ignoring the clients. No help throughout the floor. And you are literally a bother to everyone here. Good prices, horrible customers service. They don't pick up the phone and are not able to answer simple questions. I have to return 1.200 Sq Ft of tiles I paid and arranged pick up services from your home. They never came and now they are not answering phone calls. Still working on getting it back to the store! Tuesday i went by and they said Thursday took a day off they called Thursday and said Friday now it's Friday and they are still not able to come and pick it up. Customers beware!!!! If you order online and some of the tiles arrive damaged (15 48"x48" in my case), which happens often as my GC told me. Be ready to deal with major headaches! The driver who brought damaged tiles is not responsible and will not take it back. The store (closest process point, Miami Gardens in my case) will not pick up the damaged tiles either! You will have to drag the broken tiles back to the store to get a refund. This policy does not make sense! And the Co. had no other solutions for me. So you'll have to spend your own time and a lot of effort or pay more money for someone to take it back. Other than that, the personnel in the store seem like good people and will chat through your problem. Unfortunately they did not have a solution. I had to order exact same new ones from them to replace the damaged ones, so stay tuned if I'll have another epic return. read more

I've shopped this store many times. I always managed to find some of what I'm looking for with little to no help. I had an awful experience a few days ago but decided to go back before driving to tile stores on Doral. I'm glad I did. I had the best service from this location and left excited about my project. Luis and Jonathon were very friendly, helpful and patient. Another employee who's name I didn't get, helped me to get to my car that was surrounded by at least 8 inches of water because there was a ton of rain while we shopped. He pushed me on a flat cart through the puddle to the door of my car, saving my Nikes! Thank you. 4 stars instead of 5. The service was great but the selection was limited. I love everything about the Miami Garden Floor and Decor location!! Excellent customer service and a wide array of flooring material to pick from. I was remodel my master bathroom when I purchased 6 boxes of 8x8 tiles that were in a different dye lots. My contractor was in the middle of the job when we discovered this. Barbara was so patient and professional, she was able to resolve the predicament that I was in. Can I give her 10 stars? She located the tiles that I needed and maintained a positive attitude through out the entire fiasco. I must of made 4 trips to pick up additional materials I might have changed the design of my bathroom once or twice on my contractor . They help me get the items in my car without any complaints.
