History
Established in 1983.
FLOE International was founded in 1983 by Wayne Floe in McGregor, Minnesota. Wayne started the company at age 19 in his father’s pole building with limited tools, a strong work ethic and a drive to develop better solutions.
What began as a small Minnesota operation has grown into a multi-facility manufacturer serving customers across North America. FLOE designs and manufactures docks, boat lifts, trailers and other products focused on durability, thoughtful engineering and ease of use.
More than four decades later, the company remains family-founded and committed to American manufacturing, continuous innovation and strong partnerships with its nationwide network of independent authorized dealers.
Meet the Business Owner: Wayne F.
Wayne Floe founded FLOE International in 1983 at the age of 19. Starting in his father’s pole building in McGregor, Minnesota, Wayne built the company around a simple idea: find a better way to design products and make them easier for customers to use.
Wayne continues to serve as FLOE’s owner and CEO and remains actively involved in product development and innovation. His hands-on approach and commitment to continuous improvement have helped FLOE grow from a small local operation into a recognized manufacturer of premium docks, boat lifts, trailers and waterfront products.
