This is a great spot to enroll your kids to learn how to swim. My son is about 2 years old (27 months if you want to get technical) and he's been going here since 17 months. The instructors are fantastic and they always make him feel welcomed. Mr. Robert and Mr. Dennis are is favorite. The establishment has been doing a great job at keeping it safe during covid. All staff are wearing masks, even at the pool. About an average of 2-3 kids per instructor. The class is about 30 minutes but they do a great job at splitting the time between my son and his classmate. He doesn't exactly swim very well yet. But I'm so grateful for these classes. My toddler is a maniac at home and this is the only place where he is calm and collective.

Michelle has taught both my daughters to swim, this place is great. Good learning environment and I feel that the kids are safe.

My daughter learned how to swim here during the height of Covid. They make it a nice environment to learn.

Lessons cannot be made up because they almost always don't have space available. A couple of instructors talk to parents more than teach.

Community swim and splash pad…read more Convenient location Plenty of parking Lots of parks near by walking distance Prices are fair depending who you ask. For us for only an hour of play and no family open swim...48 dollars for us is a bit steep. 8 dollars for adults 6 for the kids. The upside to this is you get a wrist band and you can come and go if you want. For us this did not work out. Big splash pad area, plenty of chairs and tables to eat a snack, fuax grass to put a blanket down and lay in the warm sun. Great for the younger toddlers and babies. Would not say it's great for the bigger kids, bc they tend to run... and they are pretty strict on the no running. Big pool area, bathrooms are clean. The splash pad area is clean, needs some love picking up leftover trash.... always leave your area cleaner than you found it. We picked up trash to do our part. Knocked off a half star, due to the lifeguard frantic screaming at my 4 year old.... who was having a hard time bc it was time to go.... didn't appreciate the screaming...a simple whistle blow would have gotten his attention and would have been a great distraction for redirecting. Knocked off half star for the extra trash on the side and clean up we had to do for us to feel OK to sit and eat and play. Water shoes a must! Bring a blanket to sit on Hats There is plenty of shade out of the water. Would recommend to others, if you plan on coming back through out the day which is nice to join the family open swim to get your worth. If you're on a tight budget, possibly seek other free splash areas. Enjoy!

The main one (on Aviary Dr) has all the amenities. Olympic size swimming pool, 4 tennis courts, 8 pickleball courts, basketball court, workout gym (yoga, plate, etc.), weight room, jacuzzi, spa, etc.. They even have a children's play area and summer camps for the young ones. The 2nd location (Trail Dr) is a little smaller but has most of the amenities and more (5 tennis courts, an Olympic size swimming pool, 2 racquetball courts, a sand volleyball court, a miniature golf course, and a children's play area and daycare). Scripps Ranch community has grown in size and population. Therefore, patience is needed to gain membership at SRSRC. the resident membership waiting period is about 2-3 years.

I was super excited when I found out there were only 3 women in the group. I wasn't excited anymore after 2nd session. During the first session I learned that one of women in the group already knew how to swim and she was there to learn how to lap swim. So basically she already knew how to do free style and could swim from one end to the other end of pool without any problem. She just wanted to polish and refine her techniques. She should have taken an intermediate swim lesson, not a basic lesson. Oh, and a private lesson, not a group lesson. I started feeling uneasy when I noticed the coach spent way more time with that woman than rest of us. The coach spent about 15 mins with her and maybe 5 mins with rest of us each time. It was obvious that woman acting like this was her own private lesson, kept on asking the coach tons of questions, interrupting that short 5 min session that the coach was having with another student by asking her to check her own techniques. I know there is always a person who would think she/he is entitled to do so. Then it should be the coach who needs to split the time equally for each student because this is a group lesson, not a private lesson, but the coach failed to do that. So if you are interested in taking a group lesson, look elsewhere.
