No calls, visits, letters, etc. We have lots of questions and even evidence in the case, but Mr. Lerma has completely put him in the back of the line. I realize that it is court appointed, but he is a person just like everyone else and deserves the same kind of representation as everyone else. Don't he deserve justice as well as Mr. Lerma's other clients? A real lawyer would respect an inmate the same as a regular client. Would you want him assigned to your loved one in jail, with hardly any record, and no one to represent help? If you care at all about your reputation could you give me a call. I also had the chance to work with Mr. Baskin, who was thorough, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood every step, and Mr. Sager, who was calm, professional, and reassuring during stressful moments. Lynette was always organized, responsive, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks, while Sophia was consistently kind, patient, and easy to talk to whenever I had questions or concerns. Danisa especially helped make sure I always knew what was happening and that I was taken care of during a very difficult time -- she truly goes above and beyond and makes you feel like family, which meant more than I can put into words. Everyone else I interacted with at the firm who wasn't mentioned by name was also genuinely kind, helpful, and professional, which really shows how much they care about their clients.
