While it's great being able to international now, it didn't seem to be thought out at all. International departures had no ability to refill water bottles and I was told to fill from the taps in the toilets. It might be fresh enough to use, but really, how hygienic is it to this this since crap floats around at every flush. Wasn't impressed. On arrival back into the country, many of us did not have a pen to fill in the arrivals form. There were two small desks for the arrival of a plane load of people, and no pens to be seen. When we were given 3 pens to share, we all had to lay on the floor to fill out our forms. I'd like to know who the people are running this show. Have they been out of the country?? I could offer a few tips on travelling. Our airport does have good things going for it and I love that we have this available. I don't think it has been thought out well enough though. We will have more international flights arriving and it could barely cope with one. I can see some big problems and delays about to occur. Let's hope for continued improvement and safe flights to great destinations.

The bed is hard, but surprisingly comfortable. There's a fridge, microwave, kettle. Everything is clean, but worn. There are even some plates and flatware. Free parking as well. This area is absolutely amazing, with beautiful beaches and amazing views, so if you are looking for a cheap place to stay that is within walking distance of the shops and the beach, then this is for you. You get what you pay for and this is a cheap motel at a cheap price. I considered 2 stars, but it's not THAT bad. But if you are used to decent hotels and don't do cheap, stay elsewhere.

The crew was friendly and overall it was an enjoyable experience. My only real complaint is that they only opened the boom net for 9 minutes! That was barely enough time for my kids to get brave enough to go in and go down the water slide. We definitely would have loved if it were available for at leastttt 15-20 minutes. But overall, it's nice that they offer something fun like that on an otherwise calm boat ride.

Would I have tried this cruise if I read his review? Hmmm. Since it was one of the stops in my AAT King's all day tour, I had no choice but to take part in the tour, so I went with it. Boy was I glad that I did. I fully respect Rob's review. If I went on a dolphin watch cruise and saw no dolphins, I would be unhappy as well. So, if you are considering this cruise, just make a mental note that Moonshadow is not paying the dolphins to show up at a certain spot at a designated time. The company is too cheap to sign such contract with the dolphins. Condition of the ships: It was clean and I was completely satisfied. However, I could see how some may notice the bit outdated style of their furniture and such. I took lots of pictures, so judge it for yourself. They had a newer ship (Moonshadow V) with a tube waterslide in the back, but I did not get to ride on that. I had no choice on which boat I get to ride on. I got on this one, which is not their newest. Service: The lady that sold me the potato chips was nice. The captain of the ship that kept pointing you to the direction of the dolphins was fine. To be honest, I didn't really care abou the service. Service is actually a non-factor in this cruise as the main purpose is to go look at some wild dolphins. Swimming with the dolphins: Moonshadow doesn't market this in their website, but AAT did. I wouldn't consider splashing around inside a huge net in the back of a boat to be swimming with the dolphins that are hundreds of yards away. I guess you are technically in the same water. I don't recommend jumping in the boom net. It was very uncomfortable. Why not 5 stars: So, how much value is in watching wild dolphins? That is the ultimate question. If your mission is to see dolphins up close, going to one of those aquariums with dolphin show is the best. Those trained dolphins are under contract (one way) and will do flips and jump through hoops. Here is another way to look at it. Is it worth your time and money to travel to Africa to see wild lions? You can see one up close and personal in a zoo. There is one difference with dolphins and lions that you need to consider. With a lion, it might be fun to observe them in the wild for hours, seeing how they live their life. With dolphins, you only see them when hop up above the surface. You don't really get to see how they live, unless you scuba dive. Price: $28 per adult. (it was included in my AAT King's all day tour, so I didn't pay Moonshadow directly). Conclusion: I think it is worth it. My phone had limited capabilities in Australia and I was unable to purchase tickets on my phone. The two workers went WAY above and beyond to assist me, using their computer and personal phone to help us purchase tickets. They spent 45 minutes assisting us and we were absolutely thrilled to be able to see the concert. The extra effort and "happy to help" demeanor were awesome. Thank you so much!

I came for a wedding over the Easter long weekend and was disappointed. Weddings and the couples taste are a personal thing and I cannot speak for them but the location is lacking in general upkeep and maintenance. I'm not a fan of the 'hippy, eco' feel and certainly not if it gives the staff an excuse to let it run down. First impression is important and driving in to see bits of scrap metal, bins and the poorly presented lodges did not fill me with wedding wonder. On top of that there was only ONE toilet for guests, unless you knew someone whose lodge you could use. The undercover area for the reception was lovely though with the tree trunks reaching out through the roof and the lush green backdrop. It is a large area too; fitting 6 enormous long wooden tables with enough space for dancing. The ability to have your ceremony and reception in the one location is a major plus.
