Called Flight Centre to enquire price for flights to Cape Town for 4 people. Also requested reserved seats, even specifying where we wanted to sit on the aircraft. We were then quoted a price which we paid on card. We were promised that documents would be posted to us, and after nothing had arrived after a couple of weeks, made several calls to the agent. Still nothing, so called the manager who confirmed that the flights had been booked, but not the seats. Manager 'investigated' and stated that agent had not included seats in quote, even though three of my group had been party to the conversation. Manager denied that Flight Centre was able to reserve seats for customers!!! Their customer relations department kept up the manager's denials, even though they later admitted that they were able to reserve seats. I have hard copies of their lies and contradictions.
