While the gym is pretty decent for the most part: lots of machines, spread-out, saunas, lockers, etc...much of the place looked kind of rundown. So many areas were undergoing construction. In the gym AND the locker rooms. It looks like a really nice gym upon first glance, but it's fairly rundown inside. I arrived close to 6, and then close to 7, a worker tapped my shoulder and told me they close at 7. Upon arriving for the first time, this same worker didn't tell me what time the club closed at all. While he did give me a tour of the place and told me about the gym, he forgot to mention the important detail that it closed at 7. Regardless, I still had a pretty good workout. If they could just do some cleanup and renovate a little quicker, I would've given this review 1-2 more stars. But until the fix the fact that this placed looks rundown and beat-up inside, it will stay 3 stars. There is plenty of parking in front of the club which is nice. It's also free. It's attached to Lenox Mall, so plenty of parking. I don't know if I would come back until renovations were complete.

We mainly came just for the pool, so I didn't get the full chance to utilize everything the gym had to offer. The locker rooms and the pool were really nice though. When we arrived to the pool, we grabbed some drinks at the pool bar and noticed there was a DJ playing. There were many lounge chairs scattered throughout the pool area, but it wasn't too busy, so we were able to find a good spot to sit. We were both with our wives, so there were 4 of us. We had some snacks and drank by the pool. While I did love my visit here, I would never sign up to be a member, as monthly memberships are $200+ which in my opinion is quite steep. We Ubered here, so I am not too familiar with where parking is for members. I would come back here, but only if I was able to visit for free.

While using the women's locker room/rejuvenation area at Life Time Fitness Buckhead, I was completely naked when a male contractor entered the space. I was fully exposed. There was no warning given to me that allowed time to dress, cover myself, or leave the area. No announcement reached me. No safeguard protected me. Whatever policies Life Time claims to have, they failed in real time -- because the result was my total exposure. What happened next was just as disturbing. Instead of taking accountability, management focused on defending "procedure." I was essentially told that everything was done properly -- despite the fact that I was left naked in front of a man. That alone tells me this situation was not taken seriously. Then, the next day, someone attempted to break into my home and sexually assault me. I am stating this plainly because context matters. At this point, it is unknown whether there is any connection between these events. That uncertainty is exactly why this should have been handled with urgency, care, and seriousness. Instead, my concerns were minimized, and I was left feeling unsafe -- not only as a member, but as a woman. I should not have had to escalate this. I should not have had to involve corporate or law enforcement just to be heard. A gym locker room is supposed to be one of the most protected private spaces. Life Time Buckhead failed to protect mine, and then failed again by dismissing the impact. Privacy is not a "process." Safety is not a script. Dignity is not negotiable. Based on my experience, Life Time Buckhead did not uphold any of these. Mike the GM is a sorry somebody.

It took probably 45 minutes for anybody to do anything which again didn't help me very much. I went into the sauna and it's similarly filthy. By looking through the spaces between the cedar planks you can see Band-Aids and other crap there. Just really dirty for something we pay so much for. There is also no direct way to contact corporate about this. The offer was to talk locally to the concierge but I guess that's really the problem isn't it. What we talking locally do if this is how they maintain the club anyway. It's just terrible that I have to do this every time you know every other month it's this way.

I love the events such as wine tasting - I think it was over 60 wines; the in-depth Pilates events, they recently updated the gym equipment, the coaches are great with fabulous playlist and there are a lot of community focused events. It's a really big tennis facility so if you're in to racket sports, this is the place for you. I still have my LT membership and that being said the locker rooms need an update. Integrating to a system that allows me to schedule tennis, massages etc as well as scan into the club would make things more convenient. I don't have traditional car keys so having to carry a single tiny card with me can be a bit frustrating. They are contract based - 1 year minimum but there is definitely value if you live or work in the area.

The personal training rates are also very reasonable, and overall, the vibe is exactly what I look for in a gym. You can tell most people are there to actually work out--not just hang around, socialize, or hold up equipment. I really appreciate being in an environment where people are focused, respectful, and using the gym for what it's meant for. If you're looking for a gym that feels welcoming, well-run, and truly built for people who want to move and improve, Onelife Fitness Perimeter is it. I found the Summer Class for the little kids (5 years old) to be reasonable and luckily in my time schedule. Monday's at 4 and Saturday mornings. The coach is so good and he really encourages my daughter. She's 5 so I don't know if she'll be good or not ... but it's definitely great to get outdoors and introduce her and I to something new. The max capacity for the class is 8 people, so you have to make your reservation early - this is easy enough to do on their website. They also offer round robin tournaments and other organized pickleball activities. My only gripe is that it's not easy to reserve a pickleball court if you just feel like playing on your own. Sometimes, when the weather is nice, we feel like going out for some impromptu pickleball and don't feel like competing. Still looking for places in DeKalb where we can easily reserve a court and do our own thing. I believe you can call to check availability and reserve, though.

They also have a sauna to cool down ofter your work out. For those that are just in need of a good gym, this location has a good bit of weights and machines to assist you in your work out needs. Work out classes are also included in your gym membership. The gym is esthetically pleasing as well as having an amazing view of Phipps Plaza when using the treadmills. There is plenty of complementary parking available, which is a relief when living in the city. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. It has become one of my favorite places to work out at!
