The first…read morelawyer we used, who was recommended to us and had over 30 years experience so we thought we were in good hands, had failed us. We were told we had a hard case by our first lawyer and that most likely we would not be approved the first time and would have to hope to get approved when USCIS would ask for more information. Well when that happened and USCIS requested more information to support our case, our first lawyer gave us no guidance. He really didnt know what other information we could give them that would win our case. I was on my own to try to come up with more material. Well considering I am not an immigration lawyer, I really did not know what to give them but I tried the best that I could, our lawyer telling us that what we had was "ok" but not able to give us more guidance of what would be better. Unfortunately, our waiver was denied (not really that surprising). My husband and I were unsure whether we should try again with this lawyer, another lawyer, or just give up. Our lawyer wanted us to try again with him.We did not feel good about using this lawyer, but wanted to find out if anyone could do better, or is our case really too difficult to win? I had phone consultations with two other lawyers who told me yes our case was difficult and our lawyer did everything he could and they could not do better. This was unsettling. A friend of my husband's told us about Jay Bagia, saying he was the best and had won their case easily and the process required very little work on their part, everything was handled. So we decided to get a consultation from Jay. Our consultation was over an hour long, very detailed and by far longer than our previous lawyer or the two phone consultations I had with other lawyers. That alone sold me. He assured us of their success rate of 98%, our previous lawyer's success rate was 90%. The entire team at Bagia handled our case so differently than our previous attorney. There was alot less work that we had to do on our part. We were told that our case again is more difficult than most, but not impossible, they were confident they would get our waiver approved. Not only was our waiver approved, but it was approved on the basis of what we originally submitted to USCIS. They did not ask us for ANY additional information. Not only were my husband and myself shocked that we were not requested to submit more information, but so was the law team! Totally amazing! We first met with Jay in Sept 2015. Our waiver application was submitted at the end of January 2016, and my husband came back over the border with his Visa on Dec 5th!
