Great shoes and the sales people are great , they are very attentive and really listen to what you are wanting or needing

My wife and I each tried on shoes a few weeks ago and after trying on a few pairs finally made a selection. The young lady helping us was too busy in the back, flirting and talking about her diet to come out and help us as we stood at the register with our shoes. After five minutes of standing at the register, we just left our shoes and went home and ordered on Amazon. We saved about $40 ordering online. read more

Very helpful staff, large selection to choose from, at very affordable price nothing more to add to exceptional service. What more can I say to make you smileYeah read more

I dont remember who I worked with, but she was very patient and willing to bring out multiple pair of shoes to be sure I had what would feel best on my feet. She also kindly offered to cut out the Superfeet inserts to go in my shoes. I love the 30 day policy so you can exchange different pair of shoes if you decide they don't feel great. read more

Had a great experience in the store and with the staff that helped me get a scan - since i got the shoe inserts and Hokas (based on scan recommendations), i have had significantly less issues with my right foot. The right shoes go a long way when you have someone help you understand your feet. Go try it out! read more

Fleet Feet - My Hoka's Arahi 7 - Shoe Stores Near Me - Knoxville, Tennessee

During these times of COVID-19, one of the best things one can do is to get outside and talke a walk in the beauty of the day. About six years ago, I purchased a pair of running/walking shoes from Fleet Feet on Parkside Drive in Turkey Creek that were now in need of replacement. I'd used them well and they gave me good service, so today, I decided to buy a replacement pair. I drove to the store and upon entering was greeted by Carson who was my "ambassador" from start to finish. I told him exactly what I needed and he immediately went to work. He put me on their fancy measuring machine that takes measurements from all angles to ensure the best of fits. Afterwards, he recommended three pair and let me take my time in trying on all three. Carson is young, engaging, full of energy, knowledgeable about running and walking shoes, obviously uses his product and answered all of my questions. He is a 20-something young man and made me (nearly 70) feel young again and like I was the most important person in the store. I walked out of the store 20 minutes with a spring in my step and a thankfulness for the way in which Carson treated this Senior Citizen. Bless you Carson. read more

Bad service. Waited for a while with a shoe in my hand ready to purchase. Everyone around me getting asked if they needed help. Walked out, oh well. read more

Excellent and fast service. I needed some good walking shoes but fit was difficult. They determined my correct shoe size and brought me 3 options to try. Decidedly on a pair of HOKA shoes that are very comfortable. Thanks to Carolyn for taking great care of me ! read more

If you are a person of color don't expect to get service in an expeditious manner. I stood there with a shoe in my hand trying to get someone's attention and finally left. The person behind me was asked if anyone was helping them so I just put the $160 tennis shoe back and left. Save yourself the aggravation and spend your money elsewhere. Do better fleet feet. If there was a zero rating I would have used it. Shameful read more

I've been here a few times, and I can't seem to ever get anyone to help me. Not rude employees, but certainly not polite. They don't seem very customer service oriented. It's too bad, because I need specialty shoes, but I'll look elsewhere, or just purchase online. read more

10/10 for help, recommendations and being organized! Didn't have the funds to buy my new shoes right away but will be back at this location again for sure! When you walk in, if they're busy you write your info down on a form and put it next to a number on the board. I like this, it's very organized. Ty was excellent helping me measure my foot and pick out a shoe to fit my needs. As always fleet foot delivers on great products and great staff. read more

Not friendly staff at all. Wanted to purchase something but was not given the opportunity to due to it being close to them closing. Should put on their website that they close at 5:50 instead of 6:00 if that's when they are gonna then people away. Lady behind counter needs a vacation or just another job where she doesn't have to interact with human beings. read more

THE WORST. Wish there was a negative star rating - Don't go to this place unless you like being treated like crap and wasting your time. THE WORST. People working there should not be in the business of customer service. I work in retail. Shame on the proprietor and management or lack thereof. This place was recommended for their BS " fitting " and I was on the market for several pairs of running shoes. The young man was incredibly rude and condescending and before I said anything he snapped and said if you are here for a fitting you are going to be waiting a while. I said no- I'm just here for some shoes. He said well do you know what you want and I said no - before I could say anything else he said as he walked away " we don't have many Clouds left and walked away. I was left standing there , no one came back to me and I watched others being treated horribly. NEVER will I go to that place and I'll tell anyone I know not to go. THE WORST. Rude people and zero help. Zappos. Been buying from them for years . Yes it's online but take a look at their consistent customer service ratings. And hey Fleet Feet - I just ordered 4 pairs from them because you are the worst ever. What a joke. read more

I was looking for new shoes to run a half marathon. Maria was super helpful and fit both my boyfriend and me for new Hokas! There was a friendly atmosphere and everyone was kind and knowledgeable! Highly recommend using their fitID to find which shoe is a perfect match for your foot. They also have a treadmill that you can take the shoes for a test run on! Go here for your shoe needs! read more

Today was my first time in fleet feet and I will definitely be back. I am a nurse and am on my feet for over 12 hours a shift so I needed a new pair of work shoes. I normally just go to any shoe store and buy something that feels comfy but I am so glad that I came here and had my feet measured. I learned so much about my feet that I didn't know and now I am in the comfiest shoes I have ever worn. They are amazing here. read more

Worst customer service I've seen in a long time. I walked into the store and stood around waiting for help for more than 20 min. Not one employee made a comment or even asked me if i needed any help. After more than 20 min finally an employee asked how they could help. I explained what kind of shoe I needed and he told me that he had to measure my foot. He then asked if i had a mask, and i told him that i had a documented medical condition that prevented me from wearing a mask ( i am a disabled Veteran) he then told me i could go outside to be fitted, mind you it was raining. While i was waiting i noticed that 2 employees in the back room were not wearing masks. I then told him i would take my business elsewhere. I have been shopping here for years and i will never shop here again read more

Last summer my wife and I decided to return to running so we happened into the store. We could not have asked for a better experience. The fitting process was great with several style options that fit our feet to a tee. The service went way beyond buying a pair of well fitted shoes. The sales person asked about when and where we run, race, workout, etc... They introduced us to their running/coaching programs and I signed on to train for the Farragut Half Marathon. I have enjoyed making new friends, getting fit and completing my first 1/2 marathon. Thinking about starting running, starting back, or pushing for a new distance or speed you need to visit Fleet Feet. The owners coach many of the groups and can be found working in the store most days. Getting and staying fit is a challenge that can benefit from support from Fleet Feet. read more

My husband and I were in need of new sneakers and he wanted to find a place that actually took the time to find you the right sneaker instead of you just walking into a store, pointing at a shoe, the salesperson grabbing it, you trying it on, and then walking out if it fit ok. Fleet feet is nothing like that. They actually do different things to analyze the way you walk/run. Some examples are running on the treadmill where they videotape you so they can see if you over-rotate, etc., as well as walking around the store barefoot. My husband over-rotates his right foot so he needed to find a very good supportive shoe yet one that comfortably met his needs. I needed comfortable shoes that would accommodate my flat feet as well as wide feet. And they delivered. We both walked away wearing one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes we've ever owned. Typically, I love the look of Nike Shox and painfully wear them until they break in. And even then they still sometimes are very uncomfortable to wear. Never again. Will definitely return when in need of new sneakers again! read more

What horrible customer service. Even though in our area the mask mandate is over they are still only allowing a few people at a time and want your cell number so they can text you when you're allowed to go into the store. We waited outside and noticed numerous people being let in with out being put on a waitlist. It was so ridiculous and the young person taking your info was very rude and seemed annoyed . Do not go to this location or do business with them. They obviously need to do more customer service training with their employees. read more

I made an appointment online for a fitting. I highly recommend making an appointment. The staff was very friendly, and did not make me feel dumb with any of my questions. I worked with two associates ( one was in training) and they both were knowledgeable and filled with a lot of wisdom about running. Unlike other local running stores, I felt very respected and will certainly come back for any future running needs. read more

Knoxville has two running stores, and I shop at both. Fleet Feet is smaller by quite a bit but edges out the other one based on the quality of advice and service I've received. I've done multiple running shoe fittings at both places (and also at running stores in other cities), and I have always felt more confident in the advice I received and happier with the shoes I ended up purchasing at Fleet Feet vs the other Knoxville store and have felt their advice was on equal footing with some of the Meccas of running I've visited. The store is small, and it is packed with merchandise, but it doesn't have a ton of selection of clothing. They do have you well covered on shoes, socks, gear, fuel, Goodrs, and Garmins. They have a great loyalty program where you get a $ discount for every $100 you spend. I think it's $10 per $100. So basically, it's REI for road runners with no membership fee. I recently participated in the National Running Day 5K put on by Fleet Feet, and it was a well-executed race. If only they weren't halfway to Nashville on the west side of Turkey Creek. If only. read more

Fleet Feet needs to hire more help. When I spent $165 on a pair of shoes two years ago I waited an hour to be helped. I swore I would never put myself through that again. I did. Today I went in and waited 45 minutes to have someone come in and be helped in front of me. We were going to buy two pairs of running shoes, but now I'm headed to runners market. Hire more help or close your doors. read more

This store is amazing. They take care of your sizing. Width, arch, length, and watch you run on their treadmill while videotaping it to review with you and show you where you need support. Highly recommend this above all other shoe stores. It is for anything running or walking. read more

Don't buy birkenstocks from this store. They don't carry every single size or width. Of what they do carry, they will go against actual birkenstock recommendations which is to place your heel within the cup, not to far forward from it. Then they don't carry every single style. I was wanting to buy those birkenstock clogs. I was basically pressured to buy a style I didnt even like, because they gave in to easily to what another customer besides the one buying it was wanting for their unique fit.. However the cashier lady was very nice, and would recommended hiring her elsewhere. Get them in an actual birkenstock store. read more

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very patient in finding the right fit for my 2 teenage children.

Love the staff, they do a great job at helping find the right shoe for you! I would highly recommend Fleet Feet.

Very disappointed. I took my granddaughter, who I noticed had pronation of her feet . I called first to ask if they fit young children, they said yes. Her she size came up a child size 12.5 . Her fitter first brought back a women's size 4 because she ask for purple. Of course they didn't fit. He then came back with a size 2, put it on her foot and exclaimed that's much better. I'm looking on in astonishment. He ask her, does she like these? I finally said these are to big, he then said that's the smallest size I have... I ask what shoe recommendations the computer gave ? He just looked at me wordless. Really! just to make a sale . I have bought several shoes over the years from fleet feet fittings , but now I'm really worried it's fraud . They basically do this little computer thing , make you feel all confident in its recommendations and point you to a shoe . Feel them out before buying with the confidence that they are doing what's best for YOU! NO ITS A SALE read more

This spot is thorough and as a new runner that's key. I went in to buy some new shoes and encountered quite a wait. I'm not sure if it was because it was a Sunday or about 2 hours to close, but it took 20 minutes before anyone could assist me. Each attendee makes people walk around the small store to understand stride and feet patterns before suggesting a shoe. Then you're given a couple of options you can test outside on the pavement. You can also check the catalogs for colors and not in the store. I've gone to Fleet Feet before and in both cases found the staff knowledgeable. My attendee was younger, but had been running since he was in middle school and obviously still an avid runner. For shoes I think this place is great. I'm not yet into expensive running apparel, but this place also had a decent selection of socks, shorts, trackers, and other gear. I don't have much to compare, but I found this to be a good overall experience. read more

We visited the store with the impression that Fleet Feet offered more than the typical shoe/athletic shop. We were incorrect. The unhelpful, young man who assisted us merely fetched shoe sizes. We asked about the "fitting" process (we wanted to know about pronation and arch issues) and he just said "yeah" and stood there. After trying on a few shoes, we asked if there were any shoes he would recommend and he stated "I don't think so". Well, what a wealth of knowledge he was!!! We were really seeking help on our shoe decisions and that help was not found at Fleet Feet. Since they only offer assistance in getting sizes from the shelves, we are a little unclear as to what Fleet Feet's competitive advantage is. read more
