She is so talented and she makes sure that she understands exactly what you are wanting before she starts doing anything with your hair. She asks very specific questions and makes sure that you are happy with what you leave with. She was so easy to talk to. Even though I just met her it felt like I was talking to an old friend. The services I got were highlights, cut and a style. The cut and style is bundled together with the price for highlights which is really nice because way too many times I have gone in a salon and left with only part of what I really wanted, but they bundle everything together so you can actually leave getting everything you want, and You save a little money on the haircut by bundling it with the highlights. My hair has not looked this good in years. I feel so much more confident now. If you're needing a cut or color/highlights you should really try it out! Jessie does a great job!

My son showed the stylist what he wanted and she was very understanding in fact once she was completely done he really was happy with his haircut. I gave four stars because I thought I was paying about $20 for his hair cut and it wound up being more than $30. My son said he believes that it may have been because the stylist asked him if he wanted his head rinsed off which is fine but the stylist should have notified me of the additional cost before I went to check out. He wants to return before school starts so I will be making sure what I am paying for before we leave.

I told her that I couldn't decide between two colors for my highlights, expecting her to offer her 'expert' opinion and instead she told that I'd better hurry up and decide because she wasn't going to wait all day. When she was coloring my hair, she spilled some of it on my shirt. When she noticed, she attempted to rectify my ruined shirt by squirting some water on me. Boo! It wasn't like I was late or she had other appointments to attend to because afterwards, she told me that my eyebrows looked really bad and would look so much better if she could wax them. Seriously. I got them waxed and she did a pretty good job on that so I upped their one star to two.

Every time I find one that does a decent job, they're not there for very long. I finally ended up with the manager. She did a great job on my hair the first time and was very sweet. I hoped I had finally found someone that might stay put, since she is the manager. The next time I go in, she is totally different. I know everyone has their bad days, but part of working with the public is learning not to project bad days onto your customers. The second hair cut was horrible. Luckily I have a lot of hats. She acted like she really didn't want to cut my hair, and I picked up on that too late. The damage was done and I had to wait for my hair to grow back out again before trying to find yet another place in Huntsville to get my hair cut that does not close at or before 5 pm. The shop itself has plenty of parking. It stays clean. The lighting could be better. They have four or five people most days and at least half of them are waiting for someone to walk in, so no waiting. The prices are reasonable. If they could just get a good staff and keep them it might be a different story. If you are male, find another place to go. I got the impression they have a better track record with female customers, probably because they make alot more money off of them.
