I walked in (no appointment) for a fade and some off the top and was helped right away. Got my hair cut by Mike who was friendly and very meticulous about my cut. He took his time to make sure the fade was smooth and lined up my edges. He also kept my bangs looking natural and not bowl cut lookin' like some barbers do. I have supported this shop from the day it opened. However I was extremely disappointed with the attitude of the owner/manager and the barbers with respect to vaccinations. At this point there is no excuse for any adult not to be vaccinated, especially if you work in close contact with the public. According to Gabi, "It is our right" not to be vaccinated. I feel like this could've definitely been a five star rating. The barber (who I will not name to save the reputation) did a fantastic cut however, the following day my son complained about the two lower left and right corners of the back of his head itching. The next day both sides had razor bumps which he NEVER had. I had to take him to the dermatologist to get some relief and he confirmed it was from unsterilized equipment. You guys need to definitely make sure your equipment is sterilized well ESPECIALLY given Florida's current climate of COVID. I'm tempted to believe that when the barber borrowed clippers from the station in front, that may have been where the contamination came in. read more

New to the area I am trying different places. I want to add this review as I believe that the one review received did not express enough aspects of the experience. Waiting is one experience, but not the only one. I went there at about 11am on a Saturday, I new there was going to be a wait. As for others coming in and being waited on, based on what I saw, I agree that many come in, add there name and kill time in the area (this in in a small complex with many thing to do near by), the issue is that there is not much (if any) resources spent on managing the clients (and there are many). There is not much (if any) resources spent on maintaining the shop cleanliness. When I did get waited on (in order that my name was on the sign in sheet) the hair cut was great. The entire time I was there, all barbers were meticulous and attended to the haircut in front of them. The only downside was that it was expected to be paid in "cash" and the fee to use a credit card was $2 - I paid cash. Also the price was not as "advertised", now I by no means felt I was cheated or overcharged. My rating is based on 1. I don't ever give a 5 as that suggests there is no way to improve and 2. the other negatives. So if you want a good hair cut at a fair price then Flawless is a good place to go - just not Saturday mornings if you are in a hurry. Some kudos... the theme is very "guy". It is based on automotive, the barber stations are all craftsman tool boxes, the decor is very "auto shoppy" (is that a word?), and each station has a compressed air hose instead of a blow drier (no sink) - men don't get a wash. They are very busy, so they must be doing it right for customers to return and to recommend. The friendly atmosphere was nice, but I can see how someone might feel like an outsider. read more

I took my son here to Flawless Blend Barbershop today and we were walk-ins and got assigned Kenny as our barber. Kenny asked what he wanted for his haircut and the main thing we emphasized was that my son wanted to leave the length on the front like it was, and Kenny said OK. However, when he cut my son's hair, he cut over half of the hair length off in the front (multiple inches). I could see my son upset after the haircut, almost in tears from unexpectedly having the hair cut off that he had purposefully been growing for months, right after he asked for it not to be. I asked Kenny why he didn't do what we asked, and he kind of arrogantly said that he did not think it would look good if it was long, so he just did what he wanted to do (despite what we wanted and asked for). I didn't even know how to respond to that. Of course, I would have like to have known and would have appreciated it if he could have informed us that he was going to abandon doing anything requested prior to conducting the haircut to see if we would be ok with it or if we wanted to go elsewhere if he felt he could not do it. Anyway, I have never left a bad review for anyone or anything online before. I believe if you don't like the service, you just don't go back. However, in this case the effect of the service is emotionally upsetting and are lasting since we can't simply put the hair back on, it will take months to regrow, and he will be walking around for a long duration with a haircut that he did not want. My son is really upset, and I feel terrible for doing this to him by taking him there today. I did leave a tip, having not ever not done so at any barber in my life, but I am seriously regretting having done that now and wish I had not. I have been to this shop before and used another barber, other than Kenny, from which I did have a good experience. However, our experience today was awful, and I wish so badly I could undo taking my son there, but I can't since the damage is done now and can't be undone. All I can do is try to warn others so hopefully they don't have a similar experience, particularly with the Barber, Kenny. read more

Clean shop with a great theme. I've been several times and haven't had a bad haircut. They are one the more expensive barbers in this area so it's something to consider. Never had to wait long because of the rotation of barbers they have which keeps it moving. Overall good place read more

I brought my two sons here today since this shop recently opened in our neighborhood and is closer than the one we usually go to in Apollo Beach and to support local business. It was very busy so that was a good sign. It went down hill from there. We waited about 40 minutes and were skipped by three other walk-ins. After the first one, I'm thinking, "well maybe he had an appointment and didn't just walk in from off the street and immediately sit in the chair while myself and another girl waited patiently ( she was actually skipped because she was so busy blabbing on the phone that she missed when they called her name-unprofessional!). After the second one, I was like "really!?".My business must not be important to them. Then the third one who sat for two minutes gets signaled to sit in the chair. We walked out and spent the $30 bucks plus tip at the next door East Coast Pizza. I will never come here again. This is my regular barbershop and have been very satisfied with the work. Lots of experienced barbers if you don't have a favorite or regular barber be assured that all of them are great. It does get busy and if you ask for a specific barber you might have to wait a little longer but they are on point with the sign in sheet. read more
