For a one night stopover in Brussels, we decided on this hip looking airport hotel. Their website had instructed us to notify them of our arrival time and date so they can arrange for a shuttle....or so we thought. NOPE. No shuttle and when we called they were like "they come at scheduled times..if you want you can taxi over" wth? What was the point of notifying you guys then. Ok so nm that. Check-in dude was whatevers. Nonchalant. Didn't seem like he cared about a thing in the world. He did offer us to pay 11 euros for their breakfast buffet or pay 18 ish in the morning. We ate dinner in their restaurant. We got a burger which was alright and KRAFT MAC & CHEESE!?! If I was going to pay 12 euros for a plate of boxed mac & cheese topped with a few puny shrimp, I would have just starved...another thing that pissed me off? As we sat there patiently waiting for our food, we noticed all other tables getting bread. I even made questioning eye contact with one employee as he walked away after delivering bread to a newcomer...still no bread. The guy finally brought some out after I asked. THE ROOM: there was TRASH UNDER ONE BED. Not cool. The toiletries were very cute..they were from Anatomicals. WIFI SUCKED...you reconnect every hour and its SUPER SNAIL PACE.. Breakfast bar was awesome. Tasty fruit juices, cereal boxes, different cheeses which you cut as you wish, eggs cooked anywa (scrambled, hardboiled, sunnyside), fruits, smoked salmon..etc The hotel's interior design resembles that of a bar. Dark, reddish hues. Pool tables. Check in counter is also a real alcoholic bar. I liked the designs but I wouldn't stay here again bc the bad outweighs the good by far :(

The rooms are on the smaller side and fairly typical for Europe. You get a free bottle of water and the coolest little package of shampoo, body wash, lotion and soap. They have a gated parking lot and you can have the ticket validated at the front desk. There is an airport shuttle that runs every 30 to 40 minutes starting around 5am or so. Check with the front desk for the exact schedule. The hotel is only a 6 minute cab ride away in good traffic and 15 minutes in bad traffic. So if your flying out and want a close hotel, this hotel fits that need. The bar and lounge area is really mind blowing and peaks all of your senses. It gives off this night club kind of vibe and is really inviting. The bar is open 24/7. The restaurant is open until 10:30pm. They have a gym as well so if you want to pump some iron or get in a run before you hit the bar you can certainly do that here. Internet. The internet system needs to be looked into. It kicks you out every hour and makes you log back in. Very friggin frustrating. Logged in about 10 times tonight between my phone and PC, ugh. Even went to the lobby because I thought it was just in the rooms but it does it there too. Thought about docking a full star for that but I'm gonna hold off for now. This is my first stay here and overall it was enjoyable and very fairly priced. I think the breakfast is a little in the expensive side but that seems to be a common theme in Europe and not just this hotel. Enjoy!

To start off, my experience here was HORRIBLE!!!! Yassin,…read morethe receptionist, was a very rude man. He did nothing but give attitude and did not meet the customer service criteria !! I do NOT complain anywhere I go, but he had the audacity to say what I'm saying is "bullshit." First off, we arrived on Friday afternoon and we booked a family room with fridge and AC. When we got there the AC was not working nor the fridge. They sent their handyman to fix it that night when we left for our dinner and they called us saying that it was fixed . We got to our hotel at midnight that night, the AC and fridge WAS NOT working. We spoke to the receptionist, Daniel, that night and they gave us 2 separate rooms for the night so we were moving rooms until 1:30 AM. The following day they expected us to move into one room once again. They were NOT being fair about the situation since this entire problem was their fault. Yassin, being the person helping us on Saturday morning was so rude, did not want to make an exception for us and the trouble they put us through. This man was full of attitude and was not accommodating to any of our needs. He had to call his Manager, Christopher, to make the decisions, and he was nice enough to let us keep the 2 rooms. During check out, again it was Yassin, before checking our file, he was charging us more than we should have paid and until we did not show proof of an email that stated the correct amount, we were going to be over charged. He also had the audacity to be mean, full of attitude, and say that "She's used to doing this everywhere she goes"... how DARE a receptionist say something like that to a PAYING guest. He was horrible. I have never had an experience like this staying at a hotel. Never again will I book with them. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Our bill added up considering we booked our discounted room on Kayak.com. Breakfast is decent and has a lot of variety. The shuttle is provided free to guests and runs every 30 minutes starting at 4am in the morning. It's an actual bus and not a van. There are racks available for luggage storage. Walking in, it's clean and smells nice. The staff was super efficient and got me checked in within a few minutes of me walking through the door. There is a restaurant on site, but I can't comment as we did not dine there. I had a queen sized bed room and it's enough for 2 people. The room has a fridge and a coffee maker. Though, I didn't try using their coffee maker because I don't know when's the last time it was cleaned out. There's a pretty big safe in the closet. The bathroom has a tub and a shower. Though, the shower itself is a little tight, but manageable. Bed was comfy, but it did get hot during the night and we set the temp all the way down, but that didn't cool the room down enough. Bathroom is big enough and not cramped at all. A couple of caveats is that this place is about 30 minutes away from the city center. You can either walk to the bus stop, take the shuttle back to the airport and take the subway or use Uber. We decided to use Uber as that comes out to about $35 vs, $11 one way using the subway and will probably take at least an hour to get to the city center. The's only 1 restaurant on site and I didn't see anything else in the area. There was no store that I was able to see. There's also public transportation right outside if you happen to miss your shuttle to the airport.

The gym was great had cables and dumbbells all you really need. Upon going into my room I received some kind of crackers with a kind note. The room had plenty of room with a mini fridge for use. The lounge didn't have great food either but had alcohol available from 6-8pm.
