Massage was wonderful, except for the shoulder which was just painful. Stacey, the masseuse and proprietor, suggested I contact my doctor because she did not believe what I was feeling and describing was muscle related. She could not be sure what it was but suggested I should at least rule out any potentially serious issue before any further appointments. Good thing she did. I had a herniated disc in my neck that was causing the aches and tingling in my neck, arms, and hand. It soon lead to a loss of strength in my left arm amoung many other things. My Doctor and Healthy Touch worked together over the course of almost a full year until the massage therapy, medical procedures, and revised exercise program brought me back...almost as good as new. Without Stacey's recommendation I am have waited longer to see my Doctor...and it might have been a lot worse. Massage can relax you and feels wonderful, but at times, when done correctly and professionally, it can be so much more.

Rosetta escorted me back to a very nice room and thoroughly reviewed my forms to better understand me as a new client. I explained my shoulders and neck were tight/sore from shoveling snow. She did an excellent Swedish with a concentration on my neck and shoulders. She has more of a deep pressure, which I really liked and asked me to let her know if she needed to go lighter or deeper. I am very impressed with the massage. Rosetta was able to also uncover some knots and worked them out thoroughly. My neck and shoulders feels wonderful! The center also gave me a packet at the checkout with my therapist background and specialties in massage, tips on keeping lose. I thought that was such a nice touch! I will definitely be back!

Finally at 11:20 am the lady showed up and I said I booked an online appointment at 11 so she took me in. She started around 11:25 AM. 15 mins a later someone walked in the door, I heard her say come back in 40 minutes. However someone came again about 20 minutes later and she escorted him to another room. She came back where I was and said "it's ok if only 30 minutes, very busy today there's just one of use, come back next time" at this time she only have done my back not even my legs. I asked can I at least have 5 minutes on each leg cause they really hurt that's why I'm here she said ok, but she did it in a rushed kind of way. So I said it's fine we can be done. I got up checked my watch and it says 11;55 AM. I paid and she asked you give me tip? So I did I said $5, she charged me $58. Their 1 hr massage is $60 their 30 min massage is $50. I was frustrated but I just walked away. The massage was mediocre. I booked a Swedish massage cause I'm not really into DTM and the stretching and bending joints. I know different kinds of massages and what I had was not a Swedish massage. She didn't really go through all the process of a Swedish massage she did the massage - rushing it too. It felt good after but again, it wasn't a whole body massage so my body didn't feel balanced and less achy all over. I'm sure if there was another employee it would've been a different scenario hopefully a better one for their future customers. I just wanted to share my experience to help the business so it doesn't happen again. If they don't look at their online bookings on their site and just rely on their walk ins or phone bookings then take the site booking down and if they cannot accommodate more than 1 customer at a time they should be honest at the get go. Wouldn't be going back here but I wish the business luck.

The ladies here (Shay and Brandi) intuitively know what areas need work. They are both very strong so if you bruise easily let them know. They have been very accommodating when the pressure was a little too hard and I asked them to go a little softer. I also get cold easily in the winter and they now use more blankets for me. I normally get a 90 minute massage at 100$. I found it best to text for an appointment rather than call. Friday and Saturday they get busy with couple massages so it's usually a little tougher getting in on those days.
