They recently expanded on the property with their new building, as attendance has continued to increase. I think people get the wrong idea about a church when part of the message includes tithing, which reveals the true believers from the posers, as we are to give with an open heart. Even though it is a recurring message here at this church, they are never hostile or pushy about it. The new building was funded through the church, a body of believers, and was navigated through much economic turmoil, i.e. banks rejecting loans or attending church-goers' giving being reduced for any number of reasons. I think that says a lot about God's power and how his Holy Spirit is working at this church. There have been many victories along the way! It is BY FAR one of the most alive churches I have had the privilege of being a part of, even though I am not currently in a serving role. For me, one of the most uplifting parts to my soul is hearing biblically based songs being sung by the church, young and old alike, and feeling the Holy Spirit pull me closer to God with every word that I sing. Give this church a chance. You won't regret it!

Parking 5/5 Plenty of private parking. Venue 5/5 Large beautiful church campus with numerous buildings serving children through adults. Our training event was hosted in a large well equipped room with stage, full A/V support, scaleable seating space for a beverage and snack station. Event Check-in 5/5 Nicely organized check-in table with six user tablets to check-in via your phone number. The software automatically printed name tags. The process was easy and easily accommodated the large turnout! Food 5/5 Jared and Rock Point Church provided beverages and Fresh Pizza-a-plenty for all. Nice job Jared! We live in Queen Creek so decided to give this one a shot and glad we did. Both locations are nice, but the QC location is closer for us. As others have mentioned, both locations have a "virtual" pastor when the lead pastor is speaking. I grew up going to church. I went because I HAD TO, and later because YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Jesus follower and have had some great pastors. But I've never truly "had fun" at church. That being said Sun Valley really is a unique place. I genuinely look forward to coming to church, and my wife and 2 kids feel the same way. According to the campus pastor (there are several pastors, not just the lead pastor), Sun Valley was originally started as a "Church for being who aren't church people". It's laid back, you can be yourself, and just the way I think God wants us to be. The message is typically very engaging and is easy to relate in today's life, and doesn't make you feel guilty. (Free coffee and drinks alone make it worth the visit.) Something they always say here, and I feel, "No matter where you've been, what you've done, or what's been done to you, God loves you". They preach "Biblical Christianity" here and again, I feel like THIS is how Jesus wanted us to learn. Not to scold us but to help us. Sorry so long but I really do enjoy coming to Sun Valley, I could write so much more. If you are looking for a new church, give these guys a shot.
