I had never met a vet with such a caring, knowledgeable and friendly demeanor and that's why when Dr E left our hometown and went to Roxboro, we decided to make the drive to continue to see her. I asked for him back within a day, stating I would continue his in patient care but I was not equipped for the at home care I was offered. This kitten was beloved to not just me but my little family as well. Our love felt as though as if were simply just not as valuable. While I understand legality issues here, it feels like a slap in the face as I put my heart on my sleeve for these people, automatically tried to rescind a decision I felt I was panicked into making fully intending to continue his intensive care without a hitch, and they allowed time to pass so other people had time to get attached to a kitten who was one of one to our family who is already experiencing so much grief. It would've been nice to have a small bit of happiness in this time, but instead I am told how selfless and compassionate I am by people who lack the ability to pay that forward. I wish Ponyboy all the best with his new family, but I will never accept the fact that my love wasn't big enough for him. He will always be part of my family's story, and he will be remembered as a kitten that is so deeply loved. Thanks again for everything, I just truly wish it didn't have to be like this.

I was listening to and I have left without spending money that wasn't necessary, but getting my dog treated for exactly what they needed to have done with the understanding that if they need further treatment all I needed to do was call. Plus, they also call and check up on my dogs to be sure everything is going in the right direction for their full recovery. I highly recommend Mebane Veterinary Hospital for not just emergencies but for regular care, toenail cuts, etc. Everyone is very, very friendly, kind, helpful, patient, and professional. They are honest about their hours, how busy they are , how long the wait will be, and you can ask them upfront about estimated cost before you even go. That really helps me with my budgeting and to know what to expect for the minimum cost and additional cost.

I will always be so grateful to Dr. Darch & his staff for working tirelessly for over a week to save my kitty's life. My boy has now passed but thanks to Dr. Darch he lived for over 20 years!!
