I highly recommend Mebane Veterinary Hospital for not just emergencies but for regular care, toenail cuts, etc. Everyone is very, very friendly, kind, helpful, patient, and professional. They are honest about their hours, how busy they are , how long the wait will be, and you can ask them upfront about estimated cost before you even go. That really helps me with my budgeting and to know what to expect for the minimum cost and additional cost.

This has been the worst experience I have had with a vet and would never recommend anyone to send their animal here (I had been warned from several other people and clearly should have listened). The WORST customer service I have ever seen. Our dog was having to be neutered for medical purposes and we were given a timeline of when it needed to be completed, as we were given a certain amount of antibiotics for him to have enough 2 weeks post-op...had we have known we could have made different arrangements...now we have to find another office to perform the surgery, as well as pay for additional antibiotics. Clearly a lack of new employee training, as well as office management..because who calls less than 24 hours before a scheduled surgery and says oh by the way you weren't informed there will be an additional cost. TERRIBLE!!!! Do you and your pet a favor and find somewhere else to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Later his minor occasional seizures from a puppy became tonic clonic and much more frequent, very frightening. By the time we got in to see her for this his white count was almost 40,000 so he was a pretty sick baby. Each visit Dr. Waters was very kind, discussed her assessment and gave treatment options. We lost him about 3-4 weeks later but life had become too painful for him. He passed that night at 14 years old. I am so glad we had an advocate in our corner. Thank you Dr. Waters :)

Also, be aware that this vet is very expensive (which I figured after overhearing the grand totals of about four patients that came out while we waited to be called).. So, not sure I'll return to this one, even though the service was great, not sure what substantiates the high costs and long wait times. Thankfully there're many great vets out there..
