From the exterior, the Flag Childcare Centre doesn't look very appealing. The building is surrounded by tall fencing and the actual entrance welcomes you with garbage bins. However, once inside the nursery is very pleasant and friendly. The nursery caters for children from roughly 2months to upwards of 3 years. There are plenty of staff and nursery assistants (unqualified) to children which mean that every child is looked after well. Lunch, snacks (fruit) and dinner are provided to the children which is of a reasonably high standard. Facility wise, the centre has a nice little outside space with a good range of toys. Inside, the large room is divided up into two so that the young ones are separated from the older ones. There is a good structure to the day which encourages the children to get used to routine for school. The nursery is positioned roughly 20 minute walk from Fishponds, therefore private transport would probably be required if using this nursery.
