Fix Auto was amazing. My car was towed here on a Monday, estimate was done by Tuesday, insurance and I approved the work on Wednesday and they actually had my car done by Thursday. They even stayed an hour after they closed so that I could pick it up that day. Their customer service representative, Destinee, was phenomenal and kept me informed throughout this entire process. More so than my own insurance company. She answered all my questions and called to give me updates throughout the day on my car. When she called to tell me my car would be done in one hour, I couldn't believe how fast they worked. I admit, it was so quick I thought the work would reflect that and I was scared to look at my car when I picked it up. But once again, they shocked me with how great they are! My car looks fantastic and like it is never had been in an accident at all! They took care of the hatch back, exhausted pipe, light, and bumper and it all looks amazing. I went here for a new front bumper. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes with an estimate. They have a deal with Hertz Rent-a-car which made my trip very convenient. Hertz picked me up, and I was able to leave my rental at Fix Auto when I was done. Alberto and Christopher were very helpful, knowledgeable about the repairs needed, and kept me informed daily on the progress of my repairs (either by text message or phone call). Was referred to this location by my insurance after my car was hit. I had no idea how long repairs would take but assumed it be a week or two. They were done in 2 days, which was amazing. My car was hit in the parking lot of a shopping center with minor damage to the left side of the rear bumper . I called my insurance and took my car to a couple of in network shops for an estimate. Fix Auto Irvine was the second shop I took it to for an estimate. When I made the appointment I was offered to have someone from the shop pick up the vehicle, which I agreed to. A tow truck arrived to my house and when I asked why they sent a tow truck when the vehicle is completely drivable, I was told because they were short staffed. I asked if I was going to be charged for the tow and even offered to drive it to the shop as long as I could get a ride home but the tow driver declined. He said they sent a tow truck because they were short staffed. I received an estimate for $2100, which was $1400 more than the previous auto body shop quoted me. I told them I wanted to come pick up my vehicle and when I arrived I was told that I would be responsible for the towing fee and I being was charged a $250 for the estimate. They tore down the rear of my vehicle and placed all the parts in my back seat including my license plate, making the vehicle inoperable. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. I've included a photo of the damage that I sent the vehicle with and the photos of how the car was returned to me. read more

First off...THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place was mentioned to me from AAA (they stated they are their gold star member - high ratings) so I looked on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Boy did I make the right choice!! They told me that if I brought my car in on Thursday that they would start working on it right away, compared to me bringing it the next day. Since, I wanted it completed fairly quickly, I decided why not. Not only did I appreciate their honesty, I appreciated the option. But it doesn't stop there. When I finally brought the car in I was greeted by lovely staff and a painless check-in. After that, they had Enterprise come pick me up. Scott at Fix Auto called me that same day and told me it would take two weeks for them to fix it. Which seemed fairly reasonable. Since I hit the car in front of me (I was distracted with my one yr old - it could happen in a split second so be careful! ) and my left side of my bumper was hit with the other drivers spare tire in the back. So it pushed down my bumper and pinched my hood up. But he also mentioned that they would try to get it done earlier. Because come on..who really enjoys riding in a rent-a-car? The next day (Friday) they called and stated that they received all of my parts! I couldn't believe it!!!!! By Monday, they painted the bumper and hood, and by Tuesday, I received a text that it would be done within a day or so. I picked up my car the next day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looked better than ever!! The whole process took less than a week! When I filed out my check-in form and it asked what my expectations were and I said, "fast and efficient". They hit the target dead on! I joked with Cameron stating they were kickin' butts and taking names! haha And to top it off, they allowed me to leave the rent-a-car and just take off in my car. And they had Enterprise come pick up the car. As a busy and working mom, I couldn't have appreciated this any more. To be honest, nobody enjoys accidents. Period. I was dreading this entire process. And I am so grateful AAA mentioned them, and that I decided to choose them. Best choice ever!! I would recommend to anybody! You are in great hands!!!!! I believe Fix Auto of Irvine recognizes they will be the only real life people you are going to experience during your car repair. This awareness makes them the face of your entire car repair experience. Your professional experience begins with them the minute you call for an appointment. They carefully explain the first steps of your repair process and methodically get you set up right away. A visit to their waiting reception area is your second clue of their professionalism. It's clean, comfortable and all the service people desks are pointing into the entrance/waiting area. This means not only can they see you enter but you can see them working. They have structured check-in process to make sure they do not miss any details. They have experienced claim adjusters on site who support multiple insurance agencies. They arrange rental cars from Enterprise who is near the facility. This means one stop shopping for the customer. Without them knowing, I took a quick look at the repair facility in the back. It was clean, organized, and appeared to have all the modern equipment necessary for auto body repair. The body repair man looked professional too. They were busy working on the cars in the shop. Focused on their task, not fooling around and wasting time. Their dedication to the work being preformed showed in the quality of the repair of my vehicle. Upon finally deciding to bring in my car to Fix Auto, I was treated with great respect for myself and for my car. Jessica made me feel very welcome and did a fantastic job at keeping me updated with the progress of my car (it only took a day to complete repairs). On November 28th, 2016 I was in a car accident -- no fault of my own I may add & I was told by USAA to bring my car to Fix Auto Irvine. On December 2nd, 2016 I took my car in for them to take pictures & write up a quote for USAA. The people at Fix Auto were super helpful to walk me thru the process & explained everything to be in great detail. When I came back on December 5th, 2016 to drop off my car. The staff at Fix Auto called Enterprise for me & set it up so that Enterprise would be there at the same time I was done dropping off my car. On December 9th, 2016 my car was DONE. Dropped off on Monday & ready by Friday? That's amazing. During there repairs they noted some damage was the unrelated to the accident & told me it would be a couple hundred dollars to fix. I told them I just didn't have the funds to cover it right now. BUT GUESS WHAT? When I showed up to pick up my car they surprised me & told me they did the repairs free of charge. How sweet is that? I highly recommend Fix Auto Irvine because of their awesome staff, their quick & amazing work, & how far they go to make sure the customer is taken care of. Five Stars UPDATE: On February 9th, 2017 my car was in an accident & since I had worked with Fix Auto before & haf a great experience, I decided to have my car looked at by Fix Auto again. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Alberto is their insurance estimator -- essentially the person who types up the damage report & send it to insurance companies. Back in November when my car has been there before, they did a check in sheet where they notated all prior damage. Now when it came to this accident, they attempted to include damage which was already notated on the vehicle back in November before the accident. Because Alberto included the cost of repairs to the prior damage, my car was deemed a total loss. I asked Alberto to remove the things that were previously notated back in November to lower the cost of repairs so my car wouldn't be totaled. He refused. Luckily I was able to have my car moved to a new repair shop where another estimator was able to look at the previous damage notated by Fix Auto, not include that in the cost of repairs on the estimate, & in turn my car was deemed NOT a total loss & was actually repaired. If I hadn't found another estimator outside of Fix Auto, my car would be gone today. In Conclusion: I rate Fix Auto 2 stars because on one hand, I had a great experience with them where they did some repairs for free & had amazing customer service; but on the other hand my car almost got considered a total loss & taken away from me because Alberto at Fix Auto refused to remove things from his estimate that paperwork from his own company could prove were already there before the accident. read more

Ok. The service was great. I left my vehicle for a bumper repair in Monday. Surprise it's ready on Thursday despite a 7 day estimate. The shop was friendly and helpful. I had an appointment at 1130. I came early and was done at 1130. Enterprise rental car came to pick me up. I had a rental car by 1138. On return I did not know if I could make it there by 530. Scott called me and said no problem. Call him at 5 pm and if he needs to wait he will do whatever it takes. Best service. Repair looks great. AAA recommended them as well. And since they are preferred AAA shop the work has warranty.
