I recently had an accident and decided to take my car to Gerber bc it was recommended by a friend. I usually take my car to the dealer bc they use OEM parts which is the way to go especially if you have a newer car. Gerber not only did terrible work, they caused thousands in additional damages. From the accident I needed suspension work on the front right tire, a new fender and passenger door. While Gerber was fixing this they severed the wires to my airbag system just to name one of the many things they did and lied about it. I ended up needing a new wiring harness and all other work completely redone. 5 years prior I had hit a deer and brought my car to Lindsay for body work and they did a fantastic job. I've never had any problems since. Gerber tried to pass their mistake off onto the business who previously worked on my car (Lindsay Honda). I called Lindsay to ask some questions about what Gerber was doing and the manager Cody called me back. He was very transparent and guided me in the right direction. I had my car towed from Gerber to Lindsay where Cody inspected my car of the damages. He looks for every little detail which in my opinion makes him the best at what he does. If it wasn't for his help I don't know where I would be with my car. I was able to better navigate advocating for myself with the insurance company and upper management of Gerber. After all said and done, 4 months in total, my car has finally been fixed properly and I didn't have to pay thousands out of pocket bc of the corruption coming out of Sheir Rings road Gerber location. I haven't had much luck over the years with car shops especially as a woman. If you are looking for honest work where you can trust that your car is in safe hands, take your car to Lindsay. I am beyond grateful for Cody. He didn't have to go above and beyond to help me, but he did. He is an honest person who cares about the customer and fights for what's right. We thought, wow, so glad we choose such a great place to get our truck towed to. This is where everything turned. 3-C then tried to charge our insurance company close to $2,000 to release the truck to them "for surfaces rendered". We were confused because no work was done because the truck had been totaled. No services should have been done. My husband went through so many calls being the middle man between the insurance company and 3-C. Of course neither the insurance company nor 3-C would get on the phone with each other and cut out the middle man. So my husband had this additional stress. He was trying to help me, because the accident was very bad, I was lucky to have walked away. I would also like to mention the accident was not my fault, so I felt like why do we have added stress anyways. Long story short, 3-C ended up cutting the bill down, but not after causing us so much unnecessary heartache. I don't think I will every use them again. They made things harder on us.
