Five star fence put up a fence at my new home. The builder was paying half and we were paying an additional $2,500 for a total of $5,000. One side of the fence was already completed by our neighbors, so this wasn't even for a complete job. Five star sent out some kids to put up our fence. They put the posts in the wrong height to have the top rail fit. They then dug them up the next day and placed them back in the same hole, adding a little more cement. The cement used the previous day should have been completely removed, instead more cement was added which did not adhere to the first day cement. lThis caused our fence over time to become loose and eventually start to lean.
The gate would not open without lifting it up and dragging it over the walkway. The top rail and fence in general was crooked. They did come out and fix the gate. They attempted to straighten the fence up. They were contacted several times over a two year time. They would always say "Call your builder and we'll talk to him". We would call him and nothing would be done. After two years of messing with five star we hired Land Run Construction to repair the mess for the cost of $700.00. read more
