However after the first deep clean, her employees damaged all four of my bathroom sinks from scrubbing hard water stains with a pumice stone. This was the method she had recommended after recognizing my sinks were made of a delicate material. I brought it up to Karen and she agreed the company should be financially responsible for replacement as it was their fault. I ordered the parts and let Karen know of the cost, and surprising have not received any responses back. I understand mistakes happen, and was never rude or even expressed any type of irritation. I even paid Karen exactly what she quoted me for the cleaning immediately after the job was completed. I like to give people the benefit of a doubt, but unfortunately in this case I got the short end of the stick. I really had no official complaints aside from the damage. This is even considering they were at least 20-30min late to both visits to my home (estimate+first cleaning), it took two people five hours to clean my 3bed/2bath home that was already getting professionally cleaned every 1-2 weeks, and most of my living room furniture was out of place after they were done. I was even willing to continue to work with them depending on how they handled this situation, but obviously Karen and her company do not care about their promises, their word, or their responsibilities when caring for someone's home. ***Response to Karen*** Actually Karen, I texted you Friday morning about the cost. Remember all texts are time stamped and no need to lie about anything to make yourself look better publicly. If you took responsibility or cared at all you would have replied back. After inspecting my carpets, Aziz addressed that I had deeply neglected my carpets since this is the first time I had had any professional cleaning done on the carpets since putting them in. Aziz provided an estimated cost that was higher than what we discussed in our messages; however, it was reasonable given the severity of the carpet's condition. Aziz and another team member started on the cleaning; they were quick and thorough but provided high-quality results. Yesterday it was for window washing (1st time) and power washing (2nd time). Fast and good work as always! Donnie always gives me a fair price and was willing to work with me when bundling services. No, he's not the cheapest, but 1) you get what you pay for, and 2) he gets it done ASAP--I called another company before just for a comparison quote, and they said it would be two weeks before they could do it--Five Star came in under two days! I would deduct a quarter star only because they forgot to mention they accidentally broke one of the outer window trims on a garage window --it was very brittle from facing the dry afternoon sun for 20 years, so I completely understand; just wish they had mentioned it. I added that quarter star back because upon arrival, Jerry the foreman pointed out that one of the front screens was busted from age/sun and offered to replace it for a great price--important when selling a house! For many years, I have used Five Star for gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, screen replacement, outdoor window cleaning and power washing--and they're just as good as ever. Thanks!
