I am so thankful they did. They have a lady there named the pie lady. She made some of the most delicious pies I've ever had in my entire life. I will be ordering all of my pies from BG's Farm Market. They were delicious caramel apple pie, pecan pie and pumpkin pie, and they were better than any family member has ever cooked. They were so easy to serve. They were perfect. Plus I was able to get a last-minute few items like fresh sausage, fresh yams, fresh carrots, honey they have it all there. It was very easy to order and once I picked up my pies, I was able to get a list of the pies that she makes. It is a huge list, and I can't wait to try every single one of them. they're very close to the Plumpton Park Zoo. They have a great farmers market. Everything is very very clean organized and the cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have some of the best eggnog the best chocolate milk. Everything was so good. I was eager to peruse to see what tasty treat I could grab. Parking was plentiful, but busy. I suggest you go as early as possible to secure a hassle free experience parking and market wise. Upon entering, the convergence of scents hit at once: desserts, bbq, popcorn. I wasn't mad at all. Our first stop was the bbq kiosk where we purchased a rack of ribs and wings. They have a variety of mini markets and food vendors in the building: bbq, seafood, spices, bakery, pickles items, clothing, furniture, butcher, handmade crafts, fresh made pretzels, etc. They also had an area to sit and enjoy your food purchases. We also picked up a half of a coconut cake, a slice of strawberry cheesecake, some apple butter and blackberry jam, and as we exited we got the glazed almonds and cashews. This place seems big, but it is manageable to walk around and check out all of the vendors. Upon tasting, our ribs were good: perfectly seasoned and fresh; the wings were rotisserie roasted and were good as well; the cake was just ok for us fresh with coconut flakes held on by white buttercream; the strawberry cheesecake was just ok; the glazed nuts were good as well. Small but really nice. About 6-7 vendors selling a nice variety of veggies, fruits, flowers, meats, baked goods, and one selling cooked something-or-other for a meal to eat there. If kettle corn is your thing, also something to pick up. The openness of the market and the friendliness of the veggies both edible and non is what makes us keep coming back. My coworker brought me on a mission to purchase plants we were facilitating for an event. They have an amazing green house. So many assortments of flowers, greenery, and plants, at such an inexpensive price. You can pretty much purchase a whole tray flat for about 10 bucks.
