I have seen Dr. Chen for acupuncture treatment since February. So far, I have had no doubts about her practice in acupuncture and cupping skills, although I have not seen any improvements. Last Saturday, I went to see Dr. Chen for my acupuncture treatment. After She completed the acupuncture and cupping treatments on me, she left the room with the door closed. I immediately got off the bed and was about to put on my bra. All of a sudden, I heard extremely light two knockings on the door; however, I was not sure if the knocking was from the door where I was in or the next room. While I was contemplating, a man opened the door. I was so freaked out and shocked. My immediate perception and reaction were that I had to cover my breasts and turned my body around. So that man, Dr. Chen's husband, could not see my whole upper body. He stood at the door for a few seconds, looking at me, then walked away and closed the door. I was very annoyed in the room. My question is "this is not a big clinic and all rooms are connected. How come the person assumes the light two knocks can be heard by any patient? At least, asking for permission like "is anyone inside" or "are you finished"? "May I come in" must be preceded by the knocks. And how did they assume that the patients can put on their clothes in a few seconds, especially after they have just waken from the acupuncture and cupping treatment?" They should allow patients sufficient time to recover from the acupuncture and cupping treatment and put on their clothes. After getting dressed, I went to the reception area and paid for my treatment. Dr. Chen apologized and explained to me, "my husband got the wrong message. I told him to clean the 2nd room, but he went to the 3rd room." Despite her apology, I still feel traumatized. I hope that this review makes them attach greatest importance to privacy, boundary, respect and etiquette for the patients. I have gone to several acupuncturists and doctors in the Bay Area, but this has never happened to me. I will never go there again.

Weeks of agonizing pain were 90% fixed in just a single, one-hour treatment with Dr. Guo! For over…read morethree weeks, severe bursitis and sharp nerve pain had kept me awake two to three times a night. Before seeking acupuncture, I visited a major Bay Area hospital chain twice. The hospital's physician assistant diagnosed me with frozen shoulder in less than two minutes without even checking my painful area, rushing to recommend steroid injections and 10 to 20 physical therapy sessions. Frustrated by the lack of true care from the hospital, I turned to acupuncture treatment. Dr. Guo identified the cause: a mix of a recent acute injury and chronic frozen shoulder. The Unique Acupuncture team combined acupuncture, tuina, and cupping to relax my muscles, boost circulation, and relieve the fluid pressure on my nerve. It was a surreal experience to feel three weeks of pain vanish right there during the treatment. Unique Acupuncture is strong in diagnostic precision and treatment execution. The highly qualified doctors possess both Western medicine background and deep expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine. If you are struggling with bursitis, adhesive capsulitis/frozen shoulder, arthritis, strains, sprains, tendinitis, or tendinosis, don't wait and suffer for months like me, give them a try.

Brielle is an extraordinary practitioner, but what makes her so special goes far beyond her skill with acupuncture. She is incredibly kind, compassionate, intuitive, and deeply present. I never feel like I'm just another appointment on her schedule. She listens, she pays attention, and she genuinely cares about me as a whole person. What amazes me most is how quickly Brielle can hone in on what's going on with me and my nervous system. She notices things I sometimes haven't even recognized yet, and she is so often dead-on. After seeing her for years, I have an enormous amount of trust in her ability to understand what my body needs and tailor each session accordingly. Brielle has also seen me through some of the most stressful and difficult seasons of my life. When life feels relentless and my nervous system seems to have forgotten that an "off" switch exists, she somehow helps my body find it again. Her care has become one of the constants I rely on, and I don't say that lightly. There have been times when I've walked into her office carrying an enormous amount of stress, and somehow, under her care, my whole system finally lets go. And when I say "lets go," I mean it. I go into a state of relaxation so deep that "relaxed" doesn't really describe it. I joke that Brielle sends me into another dimension. My whole system seems to surrender in a way I rarely experience anywhere else. I feel it all the way to my core, and my body genuinely craves that feeling. Every session feels like a profound reset. In fact, I'm usually so blissed out afterward that I don't immediately leave. I sit in the office for a while, drink tea, and slowly come back to Earth. That little ritual has become part of the experience for me, too. Vi, who is absolutely wonderful, makes the tea bags herself and brings them in. She is thoughtful, kind, and always goes the extra mile to help make sure I can get the appointments I need. That says a lot about what Brielle has created at Yinfinite. The care isn't transactional. It's personal. I feel known there. I feel safe there. And I feel deeply cared for. There are plenty of places to get acupuncture. Yinfinite is something different. Brielle has created a place where exceptional skill and genuine human care come together. She has made a meaningful difference in my life, and I am incredibly grateful to have her in it.

Emily is a WONDERFUL practitioner!…read more A few years ago, her practice was recommended to me after coming down with Long COVID. While I didn't know much about acupuncture, Emily was kind enough to go very slowly and answer ALL my questions along the way. Since I've been with her, she's been able to ease my Long COVID symptoms (along with other treatments), decrease my endometriosis symptoms, and improve my circulation, which helped my POTS issues. Today, I'm doing much better thanks to her help. Also, in these last six months, she's added acupuncture for anti-aging. I've started acupuncture for the face, and it's already showing results: more vibrance and decreased forehead lines. I'm happy with the results so far, and I'm curious how the next year will go using these natural methods. I recommend entirely Emily for her acupuncture care.

She has not only completed her training at Five Branches (the best!) but she also has TCM ophthalmology training and has helped one of our family members heal from a torn retina (even confirmed with tests from the eye doctor.) Our entire family sees Emily and I have such a deep trust in her and her healing philosophy. TCM takes time and healing is a process. If you are looking to truly heal from the root issue, Emily is your doctor. We are so grateful she cares for our entire family.
