So I often stop in here when I'm in town to poke around and look for new stuff. It's like a T-shirt warehouse, with every kind of shirt you could imagine -- straightforward Duluth, MN type shirts or I love Duluth kind of shirts mixed in with funnier shirts for those who are more outgoing with their apparel. Buy two shirts that are more than $14.99 ea and get two for $25 is the standing deal. One thing I like is that the store is well-stocked. Signs invite you to ask for any shirt in any size up to 6XL (6XL!) if you don't see what you need on the shelf. There's also a selection of what I'd call NSFW shirts in the back corner. It is true that there are signs all over the place that are kind of along the lines of "if you break it you buy it" and "don't do this, don't do that," but it's a big place and it is the type of store that I'm sure lends itself to losses from shoplifting. I don't particularly blame them for this. As for the employees, they are not super friendly, nor do they go out of their way to help you. But I have personally never had a notable rude encounter, so I can't agree with the other reviews that the customer service here is that bad. It's definitely not awesome. But that has never prevented me from shopping here and (often) finding stuff I wanted to buy.

I said oh that's fine that's what we were expecting. She went on to adjust the order and said "yeah the ones with sequence are 9.99 and the regular ones are 6.99... but you knew that." I was shocked! Was she accusing me of trying to get one over on her? I told her I "assumed we misread the price or there was a sale." I am not the one who told her the price, she's the worker she should know how to ring up merchandise correctly! She said "that's fine for you but doesn't work well at the end of the day." She treated me like I was trying to steal $3! Like I switched the tags or demanded a lower price. SHE rang up the order! I said it was cheaper than what I expected and was fine with her changing the price. She still was itchy. We won't be going back and hope you don't either.

I honestly feel that it did help to go to a smaller store where that sales associates were extremely friendly and willing to help. They carried a lot of brands that I wouldn't think to look for when I am out and about shopping for shoes. The service was super friendly and Darrieal? [Sp] sorry I'm not too sure how to spell his name. But he was extremely attentive and willing to help me find the just right pair. I ended up walking out with two new pair of shoes and the ultra good insoles and the ultra cool shoelaces, shoelace cleaning kit ECT. It quickly became the only place I come in duluth to buy new shoes. They are just so helpful and friendly there.

Plenty of high-priced LPS I guess, but very few lower-priced LPS, and I would guess they haven't put out a fresh 45rpm in two years. Their selection of singles is tired and picked-over, displayed in ancient cardboard boxes that sometimes fall apart in your hands. It's pretty much just a fantasy-gaming store now, with little else to offer.
