Most people go through life not knowing that one leg may be up to an inch longer than the other. So a maximum difference is a bulls eye. I deleted my initial comment once I got a good report. I had to wait an additional 3 weeks for an appointment with Dr. Loucks at which time he spent all of 10 minutes with me telling me I had been walking around on a broken femur.. I am still having pain. I had to pursue what kind of exercise I could do. The only thing he offered was to get treated for osteoporosis.

Sue has to be the most rude person I have ever encountered in a medical setting. The staff doesn't know what they are doing half of the time and end up blaming the patient for their mistakes. They do nothing to try and help and the office manager is a complete joke. I even had an insurance advocate try to help me with them as a third party and she said they were incredibly rude to her as well. If you want to put up with three caddy women being in charge of whether or not you see the doctor, that's up to you, but just know you're going to have to also pay to go see a therapist for all of the trouble and stress they cause.

I also want to acknowledge the rest of the staff who followed-up with clear pre-op instructions and post-op check-in. He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.

Major shoutout to Erin L At UCHealth Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic - Lone Tree. She's awesome! Unfortunately I've had nothing but bad experiences with the Inverness location. My assigned Physical Therapist, Cynthia Jacobson was unresponsive; taking anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to answer emails. She did not update my records (leading to weeks of wasted time, effort and back and forth). And ultimately lied about her conversations with myself, my surgeon and my insurance advocate. My much needed surgery is not able to be scheduled at this point. Leaving me seek therapy elsewhere. All of this could've been handled 6 weeks ago had she done her job! If you have the misfortune of working with this facility please keep this in mind, oh and don't bother going to their supervisors (they don't care either). Document everything.
