Nike's clothing designers are creative and have a high sensitivity to detail. Many of their items are of basic cut and fit, with an additional "twist" which makes them so unique, such as an irregular placement of buttons, interesting collars and creative patterns. Nike's clothes are very comfortable - as a sport brand, they make a point to use comfortable fabrics and proper fit. The Nike store in Hamburg is a modest flagship store. It seems to be well stocked and contains items not on their online catalog and unique to the retail outlets. The service is friendly and unlike other clothing stores, I didn't have a salesperson bugging me relentlessly. What I don't like about the Nike store in Hamburg is that clothing isn't organized throughout the store in a coherent order. Instead of similar items being grouped together (shirts with shirts, pants with pants), the items are spread out around the store according to collection. This is slightly irritating when looking for something specific, but since the store itself isn't as large as other flagship stores, one can still navigate. I'd recommend the Nike store in Hamburg for those who are looking for unique articles of clothing and are looking for comfortable fabrics - especially in the winter. I had to spend quite a while roaming the 2nd floor of the store, looking at many different jackets to find my new rain protection. 260 euros (aouch) instead of 400 euros, not too bad. Didn't have to ask anybody for help and nobody asked if I needed any. All the staff looked busy keeping the store in order. It was a nice experience and I'll be back if I need more technical clothing.

I usually attend the Thursday morning free yoga sessions, which again, are nice with the large space they have. As a guy though, their selection at this store is really limited. Their stores in Berlin have a much better blend of mens/womens selections. Probably 50% of it is the same pants/shorts they have everywhere and all the time, so only a handful of items change seasonally and are interesting to me? I usually find something I like once a season, but it just seems like hard work. I still really like their clothes!
