A great gym: generally clean, very good equipment and a reasonable fitness class schedule. Never gets so crowded you can't train at all.
2 big problems:
A minority of extremely unfriendly permanent staff members (undermining the good mood of the others).
Prices are absolutely non transparent...you'll be seated in a room for an uncomfortable interview, and get a monthly quote that may differs from anyone you know. You'll feel like a tourist on a foreign flee market, which makes the experience painful.
The irony is, prices are actually very reasonable for this kind of club. Unfortunately this is the Fitness First "we prefer to trap you in an obscure contract rather than convince you to stay for our services" policy.
