Air fried french fries
Sara C.

Came here tonight with friends not expecting too much and sadly it fell even further below our expectations. We knew that some taste would be comprised with the menu composed solely of low carb, low fat items but it was just horrible. First off the dining room is small and decorated with murals featuring the Joker and Samuel L. Jackson. What these two have to do with low calorie burgers, I will never know. When we entered the restaurant it was fairly empty and there was one woman who acted as the host, waiter, and food runner. As well as running the cash register and in charge of cleaning the dining room. There were reservation signs on each table, so clearly they expected a huge crowd and it is a Friday, so one would expect a few more staff members to be present, but sadly that was not the case. We were seated and my friend requested a high chair for her baby which they did not have. So we sat waiting to order, and sat and sat. Finally we saw another customer get up to order and realized we had to order at the counter, the hostess did not inform us and it was not written anywhere that it was self serve. I took everyone at my tables order and waited 8minutes in line while she seated 3 other groups. I finally order and she gives us our drinks. 2 colas and Basil flavored lemonade. The colas tasted horrible. The lemonade was tiny for the price and tasted like pure artificial sweetener and was so sweet that it was not enjoyable. It tasted like chemicals. The food finally comes out and the fries were atrocious, they were hard, tasteless and barely edible. They tasted like old french fries. Just horrible. The burger was ok, it was not good but it was edible. By this time the place is packed and still only one woman running the whole front end. We get up to leave and had to wait 15minutes while the hostess delivered food and sat more people. Overall this place is horrible. No service, no staff and the food is just terrible. Why not cook healthy food that is edible. I don't think it's that hard. Potatoes should not taste like sawdust. There are spices that can add flavor without the fat. I think it's a cool concept if they created a decent menu, cut out the artificially flavored food, and hired a staff. What a waste of money.

We came to this location in the early summer for German food and German beer. Because the weather…read morewas nice, they were primarily seating people outside. We sat in the shadow of the cathedral. The food was sufficiently German, on par with German food I've had elsewhere. Lots of meat, lots of mushrooms. The beer was Paulaner; we tried other flavors of this typical beer. It seemed like most of the other customers were also tourists, so they're probably used to international visitors at this location. Come here when you're in Frankfurt for a typical beer garden experience.

Rather than stare into the abyss of Gate Z-97, I did what any reasonable adult would do: I escaped on a train into town. Best decision of the trip. This place was an absolute oasis. Staff was warm, friendly, and spoke English (thank you, global civilization). Beer was exactly as advertised -- cold, honest, and doing the Lord's work. Food was excellent and arrived faster than my flight did. The place was immaculately clean, which I noticed immediately because that's what we do now. Even the bathrooms downstairs were spotless -- a bold move and one they pulled off flawlessly. If you're stuck in Frankfurt with a long layover, don't panic. Get on the train. Come here. Have a beer. Eat well. Remember why traveling used to be fun before airlines ruined it. Highly recommend. Would delay my flight again (not really, but you get the idea).

To be quite honest, I rarely crave pizza (I know- I'm hardly human for this). But in the event…read morethat I do, this place completely fits my craving and needs! It also leaves me not feeling 100 lbs heavier after eating it, but rather pretty guilt-free. I ate at Lizza at the Frankfurt Food Truck Festival last weekend. The fact that they offer low-carb and guilt-free pizza really appealed to me. The team running the stand was smiling and genuinely looked like they enjoyed what they were doing! They even struck up a conversation with me as the festival had just started and wasn't super busy (which it became later). They offered three or four choices of pizza and I ordered one with arugula and parma ham. The wait was around five minutes to get the final product. I was a bit hesitant as the crust is made of flax and chia seeds, but it turned out to be tasty and not bloating at all! I would have liked to have ordered one of their vegan/vegetarian options but one was with asparagus and the other had broccoli on it, which I'm not entirely fond of. The arugula and parma was well suited to my hunger and was delicious! It is nice to see places like this pop up. While they may not be the best place to serve everyone (I can't see an 85 year old Sicilian man stoked to have a low-carb pizza), it is ideal for me and many others out there. It is particularly great to see places like this do well and emerge on the street food scene for those with food allergies and intolerances. Nice job Lizza! I will be back and try some of your other products when I can muster up the excitement to consume broccoli or asparagus! :)

We finally made it in person here! Our intention was to eat in, but there aren't many tables, so we…read morewound up taking it to go anyway. We came during the holiday weeks and the wine bar next door was closed, which was a bummer. Inside there are two larger tables that seat six (heads up that if you sit here with less than that, you're bound to find strangers sitting next to you), one side shelf table for two, a table for two outside, and a standing bench by the window. That's it. Come on a Friday night like we did, and you're unlikely to find a spot. The staff was very nice as we changed our minds several times between eating in and taking to go. Food was on point as always. We tried the pizza puff appetizer which was super tasty. For our main we got the patata formaggia -- thin sliced potatoes, a blend of creamy cheeses, what more can you want in a pizza? Seriously, so good, still dreaming of it. Knowing now that there's limited space we'll probably just stick to ordering delivery from now on. However, still definitely a pizzeria worth visiting if you find yourself in Frankfurt!

Personal opinion here but one of the most important things about a bar is the vibe. The bartenders…read morewere cool, attentive, laid back and interactive. Next up, talk about beer selection! The tap list was diverse and I tried to taste them all. The wall behind the bar is full of gin, and the bartender helped me pick out a few. We snacked a bit on the roast beef pizza which was thin crust, nice layer of cheese, and pretty darn good. Bring some friends and spend a happy hour or a late evening. Don't be surprised if you walk out a bit tipsy
