Service was attentive and sweet. The food itself was nothing special. I would say it was A-OK. Nothing was terrible but nothing was delicious either. The hot food seemed a bit dry and over fried. I would come back, but would probably opt for a la carte next time.

The waiters/waitresses were very serviceminded and we felt welcome and taken care of our entire stay there. The shellfish buffé was shown to be a regular buffé. The cold part consisted of shrimps (unfortunately not chilled enough) crab claws, salad with crayfish tails..a few more salads... The main part consisted of a fish dish, DIVINE blue mussels in a white sauce (everybody lined up for these, and the trays from the kitchen area kept coming continuously!) Unfortunately this was the only seafood there was. The other dishes were salads, potatoes and meat.. The dessert table was a dissappointment too. The hospitality and the mussels were the highs for Blokhus Fiskrestaurant.
