Clam cake & fried shrimp
Kim L.

We ventured out in the cold to take Wayne's dad out for haddock. The menu options are quite extensive, and lots of combinations available. The fried haddock & shrimp were super fresh, lightly breaded and a generous portion. The fries were good, the onion rings and clam cake seemed like frozen - would probably not order again. On the way out we noticed the pre-packaged stuff - so will look more at that next time. Service was friendly & efficient. I thought the use of plastic utensils seemed a bit off, and the place was chilly, but will go again.

Menu and food facts on how to eat your lobster.

Emerson was a delightful server who did a wonderful recommendation of the garlic butter lobster roll. My husband enjoyed his haddock and my son was satisfied with his fish bites. The dining area was clean and his service was attentive to our refreshments. We recommend for anyone visiting the Gray area. If we didn't have other restaurants to try we would be back hands down.

Cute little seafood deli and eating area. There is even outdoor seating. Good prices for fresh seafood. Lobster rolls were $28 the day we here. Friendly service. Highly recommend

This was my first visit . It's a nice clean restaurant and seafood market that doesn't smell like one. The employees are friendly and helpful . Before visiting I did call because I was unsure if they had a place to eat in . My guest had coffee and they said it was great ! We both ordered combination plates of haddock and scallops with onion rings . We were served ice water when we were sat. That was nice . They had premium quality napkins and plastic cutlery . The haddock was amazing ! Along with the onion rings ! Perfect ! The scallops were huge ! But very wet so they were not crispy . I asked . So I was hoping to get bacon wrapped scallops or a lobster dinner which was not on the menu . They do sell live lobsters in tanks . Although the breading didn't have much flavor the oil they used tasted very clean . No after taste . We ordered a cup of seafood chowder to try but we're too full. Would liked to have seen more onion rings for the up charge as they were delish ! I will be back for sure ! Next time I'll try the steamed lobster dinner or the Maine man lobster roll ! Blueberry habanero sauce ! Yum ! Ps I'd prefer tartar sauce in individual cups instead of large squeeze bottles used over and over. On table room temp then in fridge then out and in . Mayo spoils . That would probably be the biggest complaint and other places do it as well. My guest said the pickles were good !

Best seafood chowder we found in the area! Take some home for a good meal and a cold day. It's all takeout but well worth it!

The fish is fresh or frozen and doesn't sit around. They also sell lemons, slaw, and one or two other things to complete your seafood meal.

But the lobster roll a little disappointing it was very "fishy" tasting and the roll was not what you normally expect more of a soft steamed bun. It's also very small but the price is about what you pay everywhere for a lobster roll. I'd recommend going to high roller or if the food truck bite into Maine! It's much fresher tasting lobster.

Had a can of Asperol - Argonaut to go with, happy with this beverage choice! The Lobster Roll - melt in your mouth. The bun was so light and fluffy, the lobster was so incredibly tender and flavorful. Generous amount of lobster on each one! Truly a wonderful culinary experience!! The Clam Bun - delicious flavor, nice crisp fried clams. Less generous amount of clam on this bun, but still delicious. They substituted pickled jalapeños for the Fresno peppers that usually come on it, but it was still a good flavor combo. Would gladly come here again! And would definitely have another lobster roll!!

It was about 11:30 and the place was getting busy. By the time we left there was a short line out the door waiting to be seated and the parking lot was full. My fish sandwich and fries were fresh and tasty. My husband's chicken salad wrap and fries were equally good. Great views of the marina, comfortable tables, very good service. We will definitely be back.

Let's start with the cocktails, because they truly deserve top billing. I always order the seasonal espresso martini, and somehow it just keeps getting better. This time it was tiramisu-inspired, and it was unreal. Rich, balanced, not overly sweet, and actually tasted like the dessert without feeling heavy. Whoever is behind that bar knows exactly what they're doing. The fish and chips? You cannot go wrong. Perfectly crisp batter, flaky fish, and fries that hold their own. It's one of those dishes you order once and then find yourself thinking about days later. That said, everything we've tried over multiple visits has been consistently excellent. It's the kind of menu where you feel safe branching out because you know it's going to deliver. The space itself adds to the whole experience. The architecture is beautiful, with warm wood tones and big windows that bring in natural light and make the river views part of the meal. It manages to feel polished and special without being stuffy. You can dress up a little or come in relaxed and still feel right at home. And the service is always attentive in that effortless way. Our servers have consistently been knowledgeable, present, and genuinely welcoming without hovering. It makes the whole night feel easy.

Fantastic Lobster Rolls and fried clams…read more When I visited, we had the Lobster Roll and fried clams. The lobster wasn't overcooked, was plentiful, and enjoyable. The fried whole clams were not over-cooked and were juicy. This place is on the side of a road with outdoor seating, so if it's snowing or raining, you may need to eat in your car. I ate during the summer when the weather was good. The staff was extremely friendly when taking my order and it came out quickly. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu, but a Lobster Rolls with Fried Clams or Oysters are my default order to try out a new spot, it shows the amount of lobster on a roll as well as their skill at frying. I wish that they were a little closer to Portland, as I will likely only stop by on my way to or from LL Bean in Freeport.
