Time hasn't hurried ahead for this Moree staple, even though the real deal opened virtually opposite several years ago. Frankly I think Fiesta's fried chicken is better than the Colonel's, and I love the fact that it is still in the same spot, still serving the same type of food it has done for generations. I think I ordered the 'ultimate box' mainly because it came with a drink, a piece of chicken, a burger, a serving of chips and gravy. The chicken came with the trademark oil with a hint of the actual herbs of 1980's fame. The burger unfortunately was a misshapen ball of clay. It was like the person to put it together massaged it. In addition to this the chicken was dry, yet another sin. The chips and the gravy were fine. But I have to say that the service was very disorganised. Someone had answered but then they disappeared for about 3 minutes and then another voice came on and then I gave them my order and when they dealt with me it felt like I was in convincing them because they were having a conversation with someone else.
