This is our second year to get a living, potted Christmas tree from Fish River Trees. We have gotten 7.5ft trees both years, in addition to two smaller trees that we use for the porch. They also make beautiful wreaths. We purchased a cross shaped one this year. They include a sheet of printed instructions for the care of the tree. There are lots of folks walking around, ready to help you. I think we paid about $100 for the tree and $35 for the wreath. Oh and flocking is available. There's also a "train" ride, a living manger, and camel and pony rides. You can go and spend an afternoon or go and spend 20 minutes

Cut your own, precut, plantable, and flocked trees. There was also people making wreaths from some of the cuts from the trees. There is a manger scene with live animals. There is a train that runs for the kids as well. Our dog loved walking the property. The owner and his wife are also awesome. Cant say enough about the staff and how they welcome everyone to the farm. They have plenty of saws and carts for you to get your tree. The staff shakes and blows all the dirt and will wrap the tree and tie it to you car. We had the best time and I highly recommend watching other events here throughout the year.

Every year, I set out on an adventure to find a Christmas tree that would make Clark Griswold…read moreproud! I'm one of those obnoxious people that insists on a gigantic, real tree that makes the whole house smell like Christmas. I need a big one to hold all of the unique ornaments I've collected over the years. I see my friends and family post pics of their little skinny fake trees and I really want to skinny shame their pathetic little trees and tell them to "THROW THAT THING OUT AND GO GET A REAL TREE!" - just like that, in all caps, so they'll know I mean business! Anyway, I've been to tree farms and chopped down my own tree, I've bought living Christmas trees still in big pots that could be planted after Christmas, and I've even bought half-dead trees from hardware stores that barely lived to see Christmas. This is my second year to buy from St Paul's and I'll keep going back. The trees are fresh, and stay pretty and green until New Years. The prices are average. I paid $95 for an 8-9 foot fir, plus $10 delivery fee. They deliver within a certain radius. The best part is, the profit from the trees goes to a school for adults with Down Syndrome. I'm all about helping out a great cause if I can. Hurry, because once they sell out, that's it! Trust me, this is the best deal around. I promise, no one will skinny shame your tree!

Used to go to this farm every year. It was sort of a family tradition. As they grew more popular in…read morerecent years, supply started to dwindle and each year finding a tree became more difficult. So, my family started going a few months early to mark our tree. This particular year I had a sneaking suspicion that my precious pine would be highjacked. And sure enough I got there and it was gone. What kind of stinky Christmas grinch would steal a tree. Needless to say my family was upset that someone committed treeson. Having to find alternative solutions before my kids had a Griswold meltdown, I took action. As a man who knows his trees, I set off to save Christmas. Stopped by one roadside stand and the trees were extremely overpriced, zero stars! As a last ditch effort I made my way to the Home alone depot and found a comparable Christmas centerpiece. The farm is great but the patrons are crap. (If anyone has any information on who took my tree, please reply.)

Neighboring farm fields are lush green, but obviously they don't irrigate these poor trees. Many are spray painted green, which gives them some peculiar color, texture, and odor. We did see an armadillo for our first time, so not a total wasted effort. If you need a replica of a sparse Charlie Brown tree, you might be in luck. Otherwise, not worth the time and effort of a trip out.

We appreciated his help & time tremendously. Derek helped me load on occasion & he helped hubby load, we made several trips. What a lovely person you have as a employee! Like me, he also lost his mother early & we had a lovely conversation about how important moms are. WOW. He is the most genuine sweet super special person I have met in a long time. Hubby & I both enjoyed meeting him & want to give him a special thank you for all his help & kindness! Hopefully we will be done with this patio soon but if we have to return we will most certainly be looking for Derek! Pavers are heavy, hard work & we need lots of help, and apparently lots of burgers lol Thank you Derek! :)) XOXO
